About Grace Villa.
Grace Villa (GV) is a safe and nurturing home and safe space for orphans and vulnerable girls, located on Makanga Hill in Kabale, South Western Uganda. Most of the children in their care are brought by Probation officers, police, and court. Grace Villa objectives include changing the life-trajectory of girls through a safe home for vulnerable girls; advocacy for and implementation of legal protections and safeguards for children distinct from adults; the provision of both main stream education and vocational skilling that empower the girl child and women; and strengthening awareness and capacity of communities to respond to the needs of at-risk girls.
For 10 years now, Grace Villa has protected, educated & advocated for 400+ at-risk girls. We are dedicated to raising ladies who are intellectually & vocationally competent, self confident, compassionate & committed to being of service to others. Our programs spill over into the community, & several of our girls are already making an impact as outstanding achievers in schools & various walks of life around the world.
