Wow! That sounds like a really useful app. I'm currently working on memorizing the entire book of Philippians, and God is using it in great ways in my life. I completely agree, it's all about getting in the habit. A great technique I'm using is just listening to a chapter on repeat all the time (there's audio on the YouVersion Bible App). Keep up the great work!
@Ben's Scripture Memory Scholarship awesome thoughts. I agree with the listening idea. It really helps get the wording down. Are you trying to remember the verse numbers as well? That's the tricky part for doing lnger passages.
@@SoulFire209 Right now I'm just learning to recite it without worrying about verse numbers, since the original text didn't have them. I might go back and associate the numbers with the respective verses I've learned later for reference. That'll definitely add an extra challenge to it 😬
This is really good. I'd never heard of the app. I will be downloading the app. As I'm getting older I find it harder to memorize things but I'm also out of the habit of reading my bible every day. Thanks for this video. #VRAFam
Asking just out of curiosity, is it better to attempt to memorize the whole chapters and books versus individual verses, which can easily be taken out of context?
I like memorizing longer sections to get the context. I think it's a great idea. Memorizing individual verses is fine as well. We usually train people to study the verse in the context as they are memorizing it.
Thank you 🌹🌹🌹
You're welcome 😊
Great video cool application. ;) Thanks
Glad you liked it!

@The Depressed Therapist Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching. You can still memorize as you get older!
