In this video of the Face2Face series, "A to Z of Value Investing by Jiten Parmar (Part 1)", we have with us Mr. Vivek Bajaj, co-founder, StockEdge, Elearnmarkets, in an interview with Mr. Jiten Parmar, who will discuss his fundamentals of value investing and fundamental analysis in the stock market.

After discussing about his beginnings, Mr. Parmar will discuss how he began his journey in the stock market and how he learned and invested through the initial years. Mr. Parmar will talk about how he learned about cyclical investing as a form of value investing.
We will start our conceptual discussion with how value investing has stayed alive and popular throughout the years, and the basics involving the players in the stock market, and some basic investment strategies of value investing.
Next, we will discuss the capitalization that's usually chosen for value investing. Following this, we will see the importance of historical data and investing and trading psychology and how this justifies why investing is often called an art.
We will also discuss the essential soft skills, like positivity, that investors, especially value investors need, and some observations and traits that have helped Mr. Parmar become a good investor.

One of the least useful video of face 2 face. It looks like B- school first semester ppt. All gyan no takeaways. Vivek ji appriciate your hard work but please avoid these interviews. In the end I thought he will give his visiting card and say" Sir, contact me for financial advisory".

Sir, I also made a big mistake off late when I bidded for a PAYTM(197 Communications) IPO. I was sucessfully allotted 10 securities & the rest is history till date, I am seeing red since then. I still have it in our portfolio, my optimism-pessimism ratio(O/P) is 50-50, should I hold it longer?. Sir kindly advise.
It will take many years to reach IPO price ...better to book loss and put that money in good established companies

You have trading mindset,
To understand this video's points you should have Investing mindset.
Cycle is time and price is demand supply imbalance even if you are value investors you have to rely on these two parameters of technical analysis ultimately you are also relying on technical analysis in other way haha haha
But in waves all stretegy fails if price up or down, hence best is trend cycle,
nothing much to gain in this episode.
Ye aaaahhhh aaaahhhhh karane se achha hai hindi me kyon nahi bol raha hai.... Speaking english is symbolic to being knowledgeable..... Every one should mix hindi and english to make benefit to most of the learner and for better understanding.....
