Sadly, I never saw this God in concert. HOWEVER, I am proud to have been been alive at this exact point in human history to share the planet, hear and see this national treasure. Your leaving has and will continue to be a frequent reminder that there is now a hole that cannot ever possibly be filled. I hope wherever he is, he’s being treated like the gift he is. Rest easy my friend, you have earned comfort and happiness.

Radiohead must be really happy with the respect he gave to this great piece of work … taking it to a level of performance that seals Prince’s “legendary” status as one of the performing “greats” … the man you would ring to deliver the ultimate guitar solo.

This performance of Creep is absolutely mesmeric. There has always been great discussion regarding Prince's greatest guitar solo. The Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame performance is rightly talked about, Purple Rain in Syracuse in '85 and many more, but I haven't seen anything that tops the third solo in Creep here, it's just mind-blowing. It starts around 55:00. There is a direct soundboard recording of the Creep performance available elsewhere on YT and it has great sound being a soundboard recording.
