Nice video! I actually UP 7312 before back in 2021 and I had no idea that the locomotive cab design was different until some of my friends told me about it.
Interestingly, 7312 is not the only unusual engine to have a NS cab. Back in 1995, two Conrail C40-8Ws, CR 6192 and 6259. 6192 was wrecked in Erie, PA and 6259 was wrecked in Effingham, IL, both in 1995. They were both sent to the Juniata shops for rebuild. However, instead of recieving a regular Conrail cab, they recieved NS spec cabs. This is because, when Conrail ordered the new cabs from GE, they were producing NS Dash 9s, so those were the cabs that were sent to Conrail since it is what GE had. Both then continued in service for many years with their special cabs. 6192 became CSX 7357 and operated there until being sold to GECX in 2018. It was leased to NS for a short time before being stored, and it was scrapped at LTEX last year. 6259 ended up becoming NS 8436, and operated there until 2020 when it was sold to Progress Rail. It's status after being sold is unknown, but it is very likely it has been scrapped or it is possibly stored somewhere. I find these two Dash 8s very cool since they had a cab that no other Dash 8 on Conrail, CSX or NS ever had, and was a really interesting look
Conrail was making some locomotive surgery operations like those. For example, the CR SD40-2 6449 (2nd) was rebuilt using an old SD40, but with the original SD40-2 cab harvested from the CR 6449 (1st) that was wrecked. Another example is the CR C30-7A 6557. That C30-7 was repaired with a old Ex Erie Lackawanna U33C cab.
Just an FYI, 7312 was never truly an AC6000CW. It was built with the 4400 hp engine before the 6000 hp engine was ready, so the plan was to sent it and the other convertibles back to GE to receive the 6000 hp engine when it was ready, but because they were mechanical nightmares, that never happened, so 7312 has always been an AC4460CW since it was built, until it was rebuilt to a C44ACM.
Nice video! Did you know that MTH used that wreck rebuild locomotive as an inspiration for their fictional Norfolk Southern (horsehead) and KCS AC6000 models for their Premier line?
I never know about this unit was involved in a nasty accident and there was sent to a workshop from Norfolk Southern now as the cab that Norfolk Southern use
Those have been repainted. All CN C40-8Ws are ex BNSF and all wore Santa Fe or BNSF paint before being repainted, but they have now all been repainted and they are all now retired

Sticking with UP you should cover UP 6759 (you used a pic of it in the video) It suffered cab damage and got a CN teardrop cab to replace it.
6759 got the teardrop nose but has the normal windshields.
