If this video is closest to the novel - then I am very glad to avoid reading it.
The 2009 film is the the closest but none of them exactly do justice to the book which is a lot more lyrical than can be portrayed faithfully in film.

Yes, its called "Taras Bulba, il cosacco" also released as an English dubbed film in the US simply called "Plains of Battle".
