It essentially makes the Blocker a useless card this way as well. Unless you were going into the tomahawk line with a monster already in your EMZ (which should be avoidable since we don’t really have many link monsters.) I would recommend replacing the Blocker with the Striker Dragon. It will unbrick your hand if you start with only Roxrose dragon and dead cards.
@@tylerrobbins3242 I put Barricadeborg Blocker in the deck when I first built it because it was in everyone else’s. I’ve literally never summoned it. I might replace it with a Desert Locusts or something.
If all you have is roxrose dragon you can summon it, get your basal shoot spell, link into striker, use basal shoot to re-summon rox, then link into halq. It is similar to what salamangreat does for jet synchron
Actually, there's a better version of the Red Rose line if you have an Adventure Token on the field at the start. The combo would be like this : -You'll first need to have Red Rose Dragon and Rite of Aramesir in your hand in order to start the combo and ideally an Ash and a Crossout just to be safe ; -Start by activating Rite of Aramesir, summoning your Adventure Token and activating Fateful Adventure. Then, you Normal Summon Red Rose Dragon in order to trigger Fateful Adventure, searching for your Dracoback which will probably be your discard (I say "probably" in case you would have a dead card in your hand) ; -Activate Fateful Adventure a second time, now to search for your Gryphon Rider and discard your Dracoback (if you do, equip it to your Adventure Token) or your dead card. Then Special Summon Gryphon Rider off his effect. Now you can Synchro Summon Baronne de Fleur with the latter and Red Rose Dragon ; -Activate Red Rose Dragon's effect from the GY, Special Summoning Roxrose Dragon which will search for your Basal Rose Shoot. Add it to your hand but DO NOT activate it. Instead, Synchro Summon Yazi with Roxrose and and your Adventure Token ; -Next, destroy Yazi either by its own effect (if your opponent has a card on the field) or by Baronne's effect. This will trigger Yazi's effect from the GY, Special Summoning Taia from your Deck. Then, activate Taia's effect, banishing Yazi from the GY to summon your token. Use them to Synchro Summon Baxia. DO NOT activate its effect on summon unless your opponent has a card on the field but DO activate Taia's second effect to send Adhara to the GY ; -With your Basal Rose Shoot still in your hand, you can now Set it and destroy it with Baxia's effect in order to bring back Adhara from the GY. By destroying Basal Rose Shoot, you can trigger its effect from the GY to bring back Roxrose Dragon. With these two Tuners now on the field, Link Summon Crystron Halq ; -Now Crystron Halq is summoned, activate its effect to bring in Jet Synchron from your hand or Deck and HERE, Synchro Summon ChaoFeng first with Baxia and THEN, use its effect from the GY, discarding Dracoback if you still have it in your hand or any other card to Special Summon it back into the field in order to Link Summon Auroradon and its three tokens. You can then Tribute it along with one token to Special Summon O-Lion from your Deck ; -Synchro Summon DengLong with O-Lion and a token (place it in the Extra Monster Zone to continue the combo) then chainblock DengLong with O-lion so you can safely search for your Nine Pillars. Then with DengLong's second effect, send an Ashuna to the GY so it becomes a level 7. You can now Synchro Summon ChengYing with it and another level 3 token. Place him in the Extra Monster Zone since you're no longer able to Link Summon. Now that DengLong left the field, you can activate its last effect to summon a Chiwen (level 1 Tuner) from the Deck ; -At this point, you should still have one token left on the field along with Chiwen. Use Ashuna's GY effect, banishing it in order to summon Vishuda from the Deck. Use the latter and Chiwen to Synchro Summon Chixiao. Activate his effect on summon to search for the Emergence which you activate to search for Protos. You can also banish Adhara to get Ashuna back to your hand if you want ; -Activate Emergence to search for Protos and Special Summon it by banishing your last remaining token, Red Rose Dragon and DengLong (doesn't really matter who you banish but DO NOT banish Vishuda or Ashuna !). And finally, activate Protos' effect to block DARK attribute monsters from being Special Summoned and Set your Nine Pillars. In the end, your end board should have ChengYing in the EMZ, Chixiao, Baronne de Fleur and ChaoFeng and Protos blocking LIGHT and DARK monsters respectively. Keep in mind that the Nine Pillars can negate the Droplet which can be clutch and even though you would have a strong board, your opponent can still beat you if they have the solution like a Lava Golem, Kaiju, Sphere Mode or even Underworld Goddess of the Closed World. I hope this will help !
And there is a better version than your. Baron, savage, arc light, chaofeng and chixiao(4 omni 1 monster) OR baron, savage, arc light, chaofeng and gryphon + brave token(5 omni)
@@rinreborn7364 What about Protos, then ? LIGHT and DARK are the most popular attributes in the game and since DPE arrived, Protos has been a huge factor in shutting him down, even more against HEROes.
Really cool vid. Something I only realised the other day is that Jet Synchron + Enchantress/Aramesir/Foolish is full combo by summoning Red Rose off of halq. Probably common knowledge but I still thought it was cool. Not quite ideal as your halq is susceptible to being hand trapped but it is in the jet only line also so its a huge improvement. The line goes activate Aramesir, play Fateful Adventure from deck. Normal Summon Jet, search Dracoback. Activate Fateful, search Gryphon, send Dracoback (Draco effect is optional as we're linking off the token). Link Token + Jet in to Halq, summon Red Rose from deck. Synchro Gryphon + Red Rose in to Baronne, activate Red Rose to summon Roxrose. Activate Roxrose (doesn't actually matter what you add as Basal isn't required for the combo). Jet GY effect, you can discard the card you just added or something else. Link Jet + Halq in to Auroradon. Tribute Auroradon and Roxrose to summon O-lion. From here the line is as usual. Denglong > Chengying > Yazi > Taia > Chixiao > Baxia > Chaofeng > Protos > Set Pillars. End board is Baronne, Chengying, Chaofeng, Protos, Pillars and 3 cards in hand.

You can add another basic combo to it: Instead of changing Deng Long's level with his effect use him and a token to summon Borreload Savage, and use a token and Jets synchron to go for Herald of Arc-light. You end with Borreload Savage, Chiwen (with Nine Pillars), and Herald of Arc-light on field. 3 omni-negates (or 4 if you Summon Baronne before halqi). Another neat thing in some of the combos is if you're able to get your Adventurer set up out without sending Dracoback to the grave that turn, It's a free thing that you can pop with Baxia to bring back the chiwen/adhara
One thing I’ve learned from people is if you still have a token on board you can banish taia with protos and return it with adhara so you have guaranteed follow up on your next turn.
The halq by himself combo actually needs 2 more cards, and 1 of them u need to be able to put on the field, if the 2 cards are monsters and you can't summon any of them you don't get the full combo, because u can't pop 1 with baxia, but what you can do is just not summon the vishuda and use chiwen with Chixiao to make chaofeng and have the light negate plus Omni negate with search for ash, or let the Chixiao and chiwen on board, then you have a monster on field negate and the Omni negate
The red rose dragon+ level 7 combo works better going the Denglong way, even when starting with ashuna, because you can end on Baronne + Chengying + Chixiao + Protoss + Chaofeng with Nine Pillars, which in my opinion is better than Baronne + Herald + Auroradon + Chixiao + Chengying or Protoss
This deck is so ridiculously broken. I just scoop once I see I’m up against this deck. It’s not super uncommon, but even when it does come up it’s usually not the only line you have. It will hurt the decks consistency, but not the power. Honestly though just try a build without it and see how many times you notice that not having it hurts you if you are on the fence about it.
Its presence means you have a way of getting to Auroradon without relying on Halq. I'd argue that getting to Auroradon through Tomahawk is actually better than through Halq because it doesn't use your normal summon and Tomahawk can't get negated by Ash Blossom. That being said, Mecha Phantom Beast Dracossack (another UR, albeit one from the same secret pack as Auroradon) is a decent alternative to Tomahawk. It doesn't create as many tokens, so the end board is smaller, but Dracossack still generates all the material for Auroradon by itself. It also has some additional utility as a board-breaker going second since it has a destruction effect, and if you already have a token on field when you summon it, it can't be destroyed by battle or card effects. That means it's not a sitting duck if it gets negated for the turn, and it can't be popped by Ghost Ogre. It's not as explosive as Tomahawk but it's definitely more resilient and a little more versatile.
I was kind of preferring the power level of Adventure Tenyi over “pure” Swordsoul Tenyi until I started testing out Imperial Order and Rivalry of Warlords in the Swordsoul deck. It’s been amazing for leveling the playing field. If other decks can use broken cards it only seems fair that I do the same.
