Thanks for the combo guide showing more plays when opening Tenyi hands. People making guides last week never showed some or even any combos when opening tenyi only hands, appreciate it
I've been testing a build with Halq/Aurorodon over the past couple of days, and I do like it a fair bit! Expect to see an update before the end of the season!
Only combo line i see missing is the full Halqdon line with a non bricked hand, meaning both Ashuna and Adhara access: The hands are Ashuna+Adhara or Ashuna/Vishuda+Vessell >Starts as usual summon Vishuda or Ashuna and link into Monk (use vessel to dump Ashuna and add Adhara if needed) >summon adhara and link into Halq >Normal Halqdon line up to the point of Taia activation, you need to banish Ashuna or Vishuda here >Synch into Baxia dump Mo Ye with Taia effect >Banish adhara to add back Vishuda/Ashuna >Baxia Effect to pop token and bring back Mo Ye >Mo Ye effect summon Chixiao add Longyuan >Longyuan discard Ashuna/Vishuda(don't go into a 10 yet) >Ashuna effect summom adhara from deck >Synch Baxia and adhara into Light lock Chaofeng >Synch 10 into Chengying The beauty of the line is that it linearly scales with material, already have emergence or Longyuan in hand? You can end on a protos too. Have Blackout? Just end on that too
@@bigdeckchair2309 I know. It's better because it also banishes from GRAVE. If it targeted, it would be a a tradeoff(Instead of not targeting, you banish from grave and field). It's strictly better because it's a +2, not just a +1.
I love this pitch-Taia w/ Longyuan, Special Taia w/ Sacred Summit line. It literally *baffles me* why people won’t make room for a single easily searched Sacred Summit that can increase your first turn board’s ceiling by another 7, 8, or 9 Synchro. It even opens the door to potentially getting out Protos as well. I get that a lot of people want to play 3 Adharas & 3 Crossout, but it’s just one spot.
Great video. Thanks for the combo guide, which actually made me build this deck.. one feedback that i would give on your combo guide videos is to give a small summary of what has been accomplished when the board is set-up for some of low-brained players, like me :D
27:03 actually, the play is auroradon pops yazi->Taia effect banish something(Ideally a mo ye target you could wheel back with an adhara if you have that)->Make baxia foolish mo ye->Baxia pop last token to bring back mo ye->Chixiao->Longyuan negate. If you had an ashuna in grave as a result, you could special adhara from deck and make chaofeng here.
Startet to play this deck today and i need to say i have fun with it but i have a question about the upcoming new cards. If I'm not misinformed the Adveture Cards will come to Master Duel so can i work them in the Deck or are they incompatible?
Thanks for the video and the combos man, I'm trying to build this deck since it came to MD. Just one question, with the recent bans, do you think its "safe" to build the Halqdon version?
Absolutely, and for multiple reasons! 1) Master Duel recently had a ban list so it'll likely be a few months before we see another. 2) Master Duel is a very different meta from the TCG and as such will receive very different hits as a result. 3) Even if Aurorodon does get banned, you'll still get your full 30 UR craft points back for it.
@@HexLex Once again, thanks man! You perfectly explained all my doubts in regards to the way MD handle the banlist. I'll be crafting the deck right away
What do you about this? Using Monster Reincarnation to return Swordsoul Strategist Longyuan to my hand or using Pot of Avarice to return the card to my deck. Which cards are the best to bring back Longyuan?
At 7:05 the end board is chixiao baronne and dragite. U can get chixiao baronne and protoss (search protoss instead of summit). Do u think having dragite is better than protoss in general?
Good for playing through Imperm and Veiler, as well as matchup specific counters. Can also be used as an extender for longer combos, such as adding Protos if you run it.
If you're willing to run a bunch more garnets: O-lion, Chiwen, and Nine PIllars, you can absolutely pop off with Halqadon into Denglong. You can get 2-3 omninegates, a Chixiao, and Chaofeng turn 1. So this build makes your turn 1 mega strong, but it of course comes with consistency issues.
You can ditch the Chiwen and the Nine pillars and keep the O-lion and Denglong in case your Deskbot gets banished by called by the grave or you can't do the auroradon-yazi combo for another reason.
My current plan is to do one towards the end of the season when the meta has had a bit more time to shake out. At this point in time a meta analysis video would be mostly me hypothesizing, and I prefer to cover the meta in a more objective light.
Im surprised to see no aruroradon combos/halq becasue almost all the builds on the masterduelmeta have halq engine and every time they top its eirther halq engine or few DPE builds but this has neither.
I've actually been testing the Halq/Aurorodon line over the past couple of days and like it better than I thought it would. Expect to see an update to the deck before the end of the season!
There's a better vishuda adhara plus any swordsoul line that ends on chixao chenyeng chaofeng plus follow up and depending on the hand a fourth interruption
SS feels as efficient, probably more, than TriZoo. What rubs me the wrong way is they have a trigger on banish, which counts your TriZoo effects. I think I'm soft forced into building this deck.
I'm still 5 UR from having this deck because in 50 packs of cards, I've pulled ONE Swordsoul UR and no DPE. Luckily I've crafted all the mandatory crafts, I just need all 3 Mo Ye, one of each of the synchros, and DPE. Unluckily the Swordsoul packs have been the worst packs I've ever opened.
@@chromakuro apparently the average UR's per 10 pack is something like 2.25 so I'd guess maybe as many as 25-30 UR's, all of them not the ones you wanted lol.
@@fuzzythoughts8020 but yeah i thought it was around 2 which is what i was comparing my luck to, almost half of my 10 pulls were URless haha. my konami grant us with compensatory luck in the future

Because it's brain dead easy to play
I almost have enough for the full build. Thank you for the tips, I've played against them for a while but it's good to see how to make the plays
2:55 the halqdon package is really fun. Yazi is just a big consistency boost being able to summon taia(Then you can consistently extend using baxia).
I've been testing a build with Halq/Aurorodon over the past couple of days, and I do like it a fair bit! Expect to see an update before the end of the season!

Thank you very much for including this line, this is very helpful! :)
I hope when I finally get to build this deck its actually fun to play because it sure isn't fun to play against.
The basic combo is pretty eh but if you open ecclesia and you have your Halq combo online, shit gets spicy
It's fun to play. Built it yesterday, didn't even know how to play the deck and went on a 5 win streak.
@@BandaiSCUM i just did the same hahaha. Its super fun
Thanks man. Learning this deck is really fun. Looking forward to more of your videos!
14:16 2 things: 1: Chengying's banish is nontarget, meaning that it's just better shuraig. 2: It must banish from both places.
