      I loved it too! I’m so envious, my partner is the sleep in as late as possible type where I am up with the sunrise, so I’m always having to be super quiet so I don’t wake him up.

      Put it in the airplane mode so you won’t get the notifications, wake up, brush your teeth get your breakfast done and then check the social media... if you check social media at the first time you wake up u get anxious cuz it’s too much information

    Omg, the sunlight is just a dream. It is only "light" for about 8 hours here now and then even we are superlucky if we get like 5min of actual sun 😂. Vitamin D supplements to the rescue...

    The daily habit that keeps me tethered to my goals is my bullet journaling. I love sitting down every day and plotting out my day: my appointments, my chores for that day, and what I need to do that day to work towards/accomplish my goals. This really helps me focus for the day ahead and get things done.

    Love the idea of journalling (even though I prefer guided meditations for myself because I'm lazy in that regard :D), it's so helpful to boost your mood actively instead of waiting for it to just get better by itself :) Great tips!

    I journal in the mornings, which helps me keep focused. This week, I've been super unmotivated in the morning and skipped it and I really felt the difference. I also go to the gym in the morning and that helps set me up for a good day.

    Hello again on this day 35 with your videos. Realizing after many months of "practicing" how I still make a mess in our apt by going from one task to another without finishing the first one AND only starting out with the task that "pleases me" (like making "creative labels" for box labeling!) rather than getting the laundry down that sits now piled in in the hall waiting for "its turn" which just MAYBE! will be tomorrow ! hmmm I WILL KEEP TRYING THOUGH and not give up 'cus I watch one of your videos each day and have done so CONSISTENTLY. (Hurrah for that!) BYE!

    Yes love this video❣️❣️❣️Thanks for also briefly sharing your current skincare routine, love me a good rose face toner! Your skin looks incredible and full of healthy color - before your makeup always looked amazing, but natural is always best!
    I really liked these tips, mostly because I actually already incorporate some of these, makes me feel ahead of the game lol. To get motivated after a long work day (11 hours average) I have a checklist to complete before I allow myself to relax with Netflix before bed. Once those things are done, I feel no guilt, and it has really made a difference in my enjoyment of down-time. I work on my feet all day and that down-time is much needed; but keeping a routine and making sure everything gets done is just as important to staying happy & healthy 😉

    Really enjoyed this video, thanks Rachel! A morning habit I already have in place is brewing coffee in the morning - I had to have one cup. I’m currently working on associating that with being active, have been in a slump. And funny enough I have done some of your at home workout videos to help me get back into a routine. :)

      Happens to me. I found that liquid calories work, so I have a protein shake. Recently I have been having the mocha slim fast because I love the taste but any kind of nutritional shake will do.
      But I have been having a problem with under eating, so If you don’t have that problem then it’s fine to wait til you are hungry. Just pack yourself a yogurt or some granola to have whenever you are hungry.

    Really cute video...but unfortunately that kind of morning is only possible on a weekend for most people. Waking up at six and being at work at seven...I'm glad when I get a breakfast and can do my hair in the morning before heading out :/

      Martina Hülsenfrucht it sounds crazy but I used to work at a rink and had to be there at 6:30 before the kids showed up, and waking up at 4 and going to bed at 8:30 pm evernight really helped. Looking back that was when I was mentally healthiest, I was able to do a workout, have a good breakfast, and I wasn’t addicted to my phone so I didn’t waste any time. I know that’s not feasible for everyone but that’s my take on it! Rowena Tsai has a great video on how to wake up at 4 am

      Yes and no. It’s not abnormal for people to wake up at 5am. I work an hour away and sometimes don’t want to go to the gym at 5:30-6:30 then drive an hour home to arrive 7:30 to eat dinner and go to bed (9-10am). Instead I sacrifice an hour in the morning and wake up 5am instead of 6am. Drive to the gym 6:15-7:15, shower at the gym, bring my breakfast from home with me to work, then go to work 7:30am to dry my hair before anyone gets in at 8am. Work 8-5pm. Of course my boss being lenient to my routine is great but I’d have 30 mins to get ready at the gym if I didn’t go to the office early.
      So this saves me an hour and a half in the evening to relax and decompress.

      Just wake up earlier. I wake up at 4:30 every day though I don't start work until 8:30. I wouldn't trade my mornings for the world. 🤙

    I've been struggling to stay on track with my diet, and I also have a big appetite for food. I've been finding myself losing control with food lately and it is very upsetting. It's not the first time I've lost control. I've managed to regain control over food in the past but it can get really discouraging when the same thing happens again and again.       Malory Lemoine aw thanks miss!! I have two stacked on top of each other at the moment 😂😂 I was using them separately before but idk I like this. The bottom one has USB ports, it’s called a Woody Monitor Stand and I think the brand is Pallo or Pollo or something like that (I got it off the Hunting For George website). The top little angled one is just from eBay!

    What's your biggest advice for staying healthy through the holidays when everywhere you go there is cookies and candy being offered?

      Hannah Moates well it depends, if you want to enjoy a little bit of that stuff, then do that. In my opinion how “bad” treat foods are like that comes down to two things: quantity and frequency. Do you have any goals that you’re focusing on right now? Being so sold on an idea of achieving something can help you almost achieve a sort of tunnel vision - where doing something that doesn’t benefit the goal is of no interest to you. However, if you don’t have a super strong goal in mind right now, and you want to be able to enjoy yourself a little then do that, but just be mindful of how much and how often :)

      You'll never look back at the holidays and think "Gosh i indulged so much". Holidays should be a time where you focus on love, friends and family while enjoying yourself and making memories. If you're living a healthy lifestyle, those 10 pounds can wait. Go ahead and enjoy yourself while being mindful of what you eat. Does it do you any good? Or you're just eating eventho you're not hungry? Plus cheat days over the long run don't actually impact your overall progress in fitness. In fact they can fuel you for intense workouts. But please don't try to cut off any calories afterwards, just go back to eating healthy and fully. So go ahead and enjoy your holidays!! ❤
