I wonder why people who aren't interested in this product keep making negative comments under every video of the Pixel II. It costs $80 because it's all metal. A budget retro console has the typical starting price of $50 or $60, the Pixel has that extra $20 because of the material used.
I’m super excited to get mine. I hope I landed the limited edition one 🤓. Thanks for the video. I liked you did a miyoo mini side by side . Please do another size comparison video 😬
Here's hoping a cfw would have faster boot times. I wanna assume also that maybe the quality of the sd card may matter on boot times; maybe this one has generic sd card. Still for 80$ this is a shame.
@@The100percentRealWaluigi Lol! I'm betting on it too! Such a backwards styling for them. Meanwhile Anbernic, Retroid and a few more companies have decided to remove their logos and put it in the back instead so it's more sleek and clean on the front. Would have benefited and made the already metal finish to have a clean no logo look!
@ the problem with these handhelds is that a lot of them are extremely picky when it comes to USB cables, i can give you a good example: i just got a Miyoo Flip, it basically refused to charge with almost all of my USB cables except for the cable that came with it and a single old USB cable i had laying around. i also have have the Miyoo Mini v1 and the Miyoo Mini Plus, the Anbernic RG Nano and the Trimui Brick, all of them have been very picky with USB cables. my girlfriend has the Anbernic RG35xxSP, it also is very picky when it comes to USB cables for charging, for her it wouldn't charge with any cable that's not the one that came with the console (she doesn't have as many USB cables as i do but i digress). so, all of my handhelds basically except for my Retroid Pocket 3+ are very picky with USB cables for charging.
@ the main point i'm trying to make here is that you are paying 80$ and not even getting a shitty 0.10$ USB cable. most handhelds at this price point would come with a USB cable by default, and many of them will also come with those crappy flappy screen protectors and a hard case, but here you get nothing except for the console... for 80$....
@@HoLDoN4Sec I've bought 5 handhelds ranging from $50-$150, None of them came with anything other than a cable, Most companies are going to charge you extra for a case or even a screen protector

Thank you so much! Does it play video and audio files?

Think I saw the limited requires buying a 5 pack with one of each color
@ that’s wild
@@nerdbeast04 right? Haha. I love it but I dunno...
I saw the video where you got to put on the stickers yourself . What if you got shaky hands you are f!!!!
@@nerdbeast04 yup! Lol. I struggle with screen protectors already 😆
Long ass boot time on the GKD Pixel 2.... Shoulders and Start/Select buttons are way too loud.

The shoulders are super loud. Wonder how hard swapping the switches to something quieter would be 😂
they rly cant remove that logo on the bezel? What a letdown.
Believe me theres gonna be alot of custom etsy stickers for that

@@The100percentRealWaluigi haha true. Tho I don't think the market will be even big enough to justify the effort. But a sharpie will do!
really, they don't even give you a USB cable for 80$? wtf?
To be fair most of us have 8000 of them to begin with. That and quality on them out of China can be pretty shit
Who needs another usb type c cable thats too short to use? I just throw them away when they come with these hanhelds

Okay, so it's just an uglier Miyoo Mini.
@@SpuddsBuckley smaller too. RK chip. Metal body. Probably appeals to some
