to heat your tires you u lean until it starts to slip a little and than just hold it there until it grips again then u lean a little further and hold it til it grips again swerving back and forth dose nothing your really not meant to heat the tires up on the road
It does have a purpose. You do it to warm up your tires before hitting the twisties up.
Friction builds heat. 'Gas it' to heat the rear, brakes heat the front. Swerving not much.
Longer distance = more heat
Cornering = more forces on the tires then straightline
@pomplumber yeah he's taking it slow for me. This was the first day I had the bike, bought it the day before.
