Nice Vid. I love my 650R Ninja 07(BTW I don't think it's ugly lol). This bike does it all for me commute,twisty s go to the store and does it all in comfort.If i had to describe this bike in one word it would be Fun,not fast,powerful scary ect just fun and thats what I wanted.Cheers

What super bike bars did you put on your 650? I have a 2011 and I want to change the bars out.

You will get bored of a 250 pretty quickly so a 650 is much better and will be fun for years until its time to break into the 1000s. I just got my motorcycle license and am considering a 2012 650 or maybe the opposite direction and get a harley softail, not sure yet but either way can't wait to get one of them. Everyone I have talked to says never get the 250s because you will get bored fast, 650s are a good starter bike.

i have a 2009 650R right now. Its my first street bike and love it. its more than fast enough. it handles very well too and brakes perfectly.

frame siders. they prevent major damage to the bike if it tips over.

I used to ride an '05 ninja 500 and then got my '06 ninja 650. The difference is that the 650 has all the features of the bigger bikes like larger rear tire, dual front brake rotors, fuel injection to the 500's carbs, single front rotor and skinny rear tire and also a smaller size frame. The 650 makes a great second bike, but i wouldn't suggest for a first bike. 650 handles a lot better and is a lot faster and brakes a lot better too.

I crashed my 2011 Ninja 650r and need a whole new front end... I have no clue how many parts to order, do the two big side fairings meet in the middle to complete the cowling or is that another piece?

Is the power so different between the 650r and an R6? I hesitate, there is an R6 2005 for sale at 5,999 and a 650r 2009 at 5499. Is there such a big difference in accel. ?

to heat your tires you u lean until it starts to slip a little and than just hold it there until it grips again then u lean a little further and hold it til it grips again swerving back and forth dose nothing your really not meant to heat the tires up on the road

ide say go for it, I was 150 when I first started riding, Now I'm about 175 and the 250 is so slow to me haha. Get a 650 and take it REAL SLOW. When you first get on DO NOT POP THAT CLUTCH, let it out slow and you'll be fine.

Would you recommend this bike for someone who has never rode before? It seems to have all the qualities I would look for in a bike, but having no experience I'm not sure if I should start on something smaller. I'm 212 pounds so I thought a 250 might be a little small for me.
