I don't think P'new or gmmtv could do a gothic vampire show without it being cringe. If the production team was Dee Hup or BeOnCloud I would be more hopeful, but its not. Perfect 10 liners...... Another year they wouldn't let the engineer trope die. Perth and Chimmon are good actors, imo they don't have much chemistry as a pairing, so probably won't watch their episodes. ForceBook have good chemistry, and Book definitely showed off some acting skills in only friends, so I will probably tune in for their episodes. The new pairing looks promising, so I'll give them a chance. The Heart killers and Sweet Tooth Good Dentist sit in the same basket for me, which is, I really want them to do it well, but I don't want to get my hopes up. Ossan's Love, I've watched both the original Japanese and the Hong Kong remake, and I am here for the impending chaos. I am so happy that you posted 😭I kinda understand your opinion for revamp because the trailer failed to promote what exactly is the storyline is about and same was with 10 perfect liners. I found sweet tooth , good dentist pretty stupid and the heart killers did not hold me tight to actually look forward to it but I will give my final judgement once I watch these . The two series that I am looking most forward to is Leap Day and Thame.Po for sure. Leap day's concept looks so interesting and I am legit sat for anything where they have Dew, Pond and Gun in one show! And Thame.Po's concept is so cute and something new from gmmtv tbh , the soft filter they put on feels perfect for the vibe of the series and I feel like the message they want to convey is amazing. I hope these wont disappoint :)

I do think it is a great move to include their actual boyband, LYKN into the series. I was actually reminded about Great Men Academy where the cast were from 9x9, and 2 members were having a relationship in the series. Like you said, it's definitely gonna give them a popularity boost among bl fans, and hopefully to give fans that image of idols being humans as well. Can't wait to watch it!

I have noticed that GMM trailers haven't been as captivating for me since 2020. Probably because I feel like they are reusing old plots and storylines from previous shows. Additionally, the plots of their recent shows are not as interesting as their lineup from previous years. But despite my criticism, I am still very excited about Thame-Po, Us, and the Ex-Morning Show! I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that Krist and Singto were returning as a couple for a new GMM BL (I was a hardcore SOTUS fan 😭). Also, the way the directors cooperated in their 'past' selfies was beautiful. Regarding the topic about fixed pairing: I enjoy the idea of fixed pairings in BL dramas. It's interesting to see the chemistry between the actors, but I would also like to see them interact with different actors (it doesn't necessarily have to be BL as well). Come to think of it, straight couples don't usually have fixed pairings, so why should BL couples? 😂
fixed BL cp means more money. simple. thankfully in gmm, most BL actors acting with actreeses or in non BL series. I hope Prem will get non romance series with Mix, Khao, Nnn 🥰 &ofc competing in School Rangers!

My most anticipated show from all these trailers is Thame-Po, I really hope what we see in the trailer is what we will get.. I LOVE Last Twilight soo much until the last two episodes, I need them to give us a pair like MhokDay but without breaking them up for a STUPID reason.. I really hope Revamped will be good since BounPrem is my favourite pairing and because it's a passion project for Boun.. I have a feeling I will love it no matter what.. I have never really liked any GL plot before, but I might watch Pluto and I really want to watch Us.. I looks authentic and emotional, and it seems like the lead couple has a good chemistry 💞 Also I really like the trailer for Leap Day so I will totally watch that.. as a peraya (shout out to you and the like five other ppl OTL), i SCREECHED when singto announced he was back with gmmtv and LOST MY MIND when i saw the ex-morning! sotus was what got me into thai bls, and i was so so so excited to hear that they're making a comeback in the good year of 2024/2025! they've always just had such a wonderful chemistry and the fact that their storyline has callbacks to sotus and to their actual lives is !!!! besides the ex-morning, i'm super excited for us and thame-po! est and william's chemistry in just the pilot was INSANE and as a fan of lykn, i was really excited to see them! and oh my god, the pilot for us was so beautiful and was tugging my heart already, i really really hope they keep the same sort of color scheme and visual tones for the series, bc it looks so tender and like yearning, yanno? Gmmtv trailers are well done but dramas end up disappointing or mediocre. So I don’t really trust them now. They have continued with old ships which I don’t want to see. It’s not that ForceBook for example were earth shattering the first time around that i have to continue seeing them together. So its wait and watch for me. I am skipping lot of bls midway so there is no motivation to keep track of new ones.

The plot for Thane-Po is a rarity for me. I'm excited about it.

I have noticed that GMM trailers haven't been as captivating for me since 2020. Probably because I feel like they are reusing old plots and storylines from previous shows. Additionally, the plots of their recent shows are not as interesting as their lineup from previous years.
But despite my criticism, I am still very excited about Thame-Po, Us, and the Ex-Morning Show! I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that Krist and Singto were returning as a couple for a new GMM BL (I was a hardcore SOTUS fan 😭). Also, the way the directors cooperated in their 'past' selfies was beautiful.
Regarding the topic about fixed pairing: I enjoy the idea of fixed pairings in BL dramas. It's interesting to see the chemistry between the actors, but I would also like to see them interact with different actors (it doesn't necessarily have to be BL as well). Come to think of it, straight couples don't usually have fixed pairings, so why should BL couples? 😂
fixed BL cp means more money. simple. thankfully in gmm, most BL actors acting with actreeses or in non BL series. I hope Prem will get non romance series with Mix, Khao, Nnn 🥰 &ofc competing in School Rangers!

My disdain for constantly recurring pairs has led to a sharp downturn in the numbe rof BLs I bothered to sample. With GMMTV, I've long since abandoned hope they will change their formula. Their plots are formulaic enough. Recycled lead duos only magnify the ennui.

On the one hand, I see how the trailer for Thame Po can perceived as an attempt to "normalize the idea they [actors and idols] can have regular relationships," and that "they deserve to have their own personal lives", too. "Fans need to respect their boundaries." (18-15-18:35) But on the other hand, is there not an element of the pot calling the kettle black? Are you at all concerned whether a company whose entire business model relies on the marketing of shipped pairs is the right institution to convey that particular allegorical critique of fandom--at least with any meaningful bite?

as a peraya (shout out to you and the like five other ppl OTL), i SCREECHED when singto announced he was back with gmmtv and LOST MY MIND when i saw the ex-morning! sotus was what got me into thai bls, and i was so so so excited to hear that they're making a comeback in the good year of 2024/2025! they've always just had such a wonderful chemistry and the fact that their storyline has callbacks to sotus and to their actual lives is !!!! besides the ex-morning, i'm super excited for us and thame-po! est and william's chemistry in just the pilot was INSANE and as a fan of lykn, i was really excited to see them! and oh my god, the pilot for us was so beautiful and was tugging my heart already, i really really hope they keep the same sort of color scheme and visual tones for the series, bc it looks so tender and like yearning, yanno? (side note: when you mentioned the feeling of being like how in the hell did gmmtv get not me, REAL, god, that series deserved so much more than it got)

the ossan's love trailer looks awkward and doesn't capture the original charm at all. And after the amazing season 2, this show will be even more of a disappointment if its not top notch in writing. S2 is still the best show of 2024.

Gmmtv trailers are well done but dramas end up disappointing or mediocre. So I don’t really trust them now. They have continued with old ships which I don’t want to see. It’s not that ForceBook for example were earth shattering the first time around that i have to continue seeing them together. So its wait and watch for me. I am skipping lot of bls midway so there is no motivation to keep track of new ones.
