Hey friends! This folio is not your average folio!!!!
It's a Fun Fold Folio SQUASH EDITION!
Join Maymay tonight as she creates a very fun unexpected quash element to a folio!
This will be your new favorite!! So gather up those supplies and let's squash it~ oops I mean create!
++ Measurements ++
Base:
(1) 8 1/2" x 11 " piece of cardstock score on the 11" side at 1 1/2" ~~ 2 1/4" ~~ 8 1/4" and 9 "
(1) 8 1/2" x 11 " piece of cardstock score on the 11" side at 5 1/2"
fold~crease ~ see video for assembly
Fancy Folds:
(1) 8 1/2" x 11" piece of cardstock ... you will cut this down to (2) pieces that are 3 1/4" x 8 1/2" score at 1/2" on the 3 1/4"
(2) 4" x 5 3/4" pieces of cardstock
(6) pieces of decor/ pattern paper cut to 3 3/4" x 5 1/2"
(6) pieces of white for photo mats cut to 3 1/2" x 5 1/4"
(2) pieces of white cardstock for photo mats cut to 3" x 4"
Flappy Folds:
(2) pieces of cardstock cut to 8 1/4 x 3 3/4"
We used cut aparts that measure 8" x 3"
Squash Elements:
(1) piece of pattern/decor paper that measures 7 3/4 x 7 3/4"
score in the middle at 3 7/8" and then turn and score thru the middle again at 3 7/8" and the put in your scoreboard on the diagonal and score

(2) pieces of white cardstock for photo mats that measure 3 5/8" x 3 5/8"

Love how you added the extra cut a parts under the paper and squash element. Adorable! This series is going to be addicting.
I know this is selfish but I enjoy when you are the only one teaching. It just makes things simpler for me. I enjoy all the interaction when you are all together but this just helps my older brain follow better. It is a little slower and without distractions. I have watched you from the beginning when it was only you. I know the younger brains can handle when you are all together. It is all good!
I'm just the opposite. I always feel like someone is missing when she's by herself.

This is my absolute favorite folio!!!
I made a huge album for my granddaughter for her graduation. It had 8 multi pop up pages on the inside. It was 8 x 8 x 3 it was the first album I ever made and it turned out amazing. Wish I had taken photos of it or made a video. It had so many hidden pages and pop up surprises inside. I loved all the measuring and calculating to get everything to work correctly. I want to make more

Hi Maymay! I love this tutorial! I'm going to make it. In June, I taught six card makers how to create a squash book. We had the best time. I hadn't made one in years, so it was a lot of fun re-creating one. I have one on Pinterest, but haven't looked in a while, to find it. Anyway, I love how you put this squash element in this folio. Wow I love this one!! I like the smash albums you made a few years ago but couldn't think that they'd go anywhere...you stick them on a shelf between books or memory albumd or something. I'd never put one in my purse for instance- I'd worry that it'd be inadvertantly damaged. But to do bits like this in a folio or memory album- perfect! And it adds such interest overall to the folio.
