About 20 years ago, the cheapest is a hole in the wall Chinese take out or eat there. Small Chinese box $1 n for $10, 10 items. It should not be there anymore but it was on market street right next to a McDonalds. I only know of one Chinese dish that I always ordered. Pai Quan pork ribs so yeah, look out for that item at your local Chinese joints.
After watching this video about a month ago, I decided to drive down to San Francisco (From Vacaville) and pick up my brother and take him to Kam Po Kitchen. My brother absolutely loves Roast Duck, so I figured I would take him there to eat the Duck and rice plate (As you mentioned in this video). The waitress informed us that the plate is actually a combination plate, "Rice plate with Roast duck and roasted pork" I said yes please give us 2 plates. She asked "Are you sure?" I said yes. When the plates arrived, the plate was as big as a steering wheel of a car and loaded with roasted duck and roasted pork. We both looked at each other in shock. I told my brother, "Why don't we both just share my plate (Since one plate had enough food for 2 people) and he can take his plate home to eat later. The Roasted pork was so delicious, that my friend said he would order a pound to take home. He asked me "How did you find this place?" I said i saw it on a TH-cam channel of "Steph Eats n Travels" the topic was "Top 3 Cheap Foods in China Town" I said, she said on this video that this plate was really inexpensive (I am thinking maybe $10.00 (Ten dollars per plate). To my surprise, when the bill came it was $50.00 (Fifty dollars) twenty-five dollars per plate. I was in shock!!!!, but I kept a cool composure as not to let my brother know that I was completely caught off guard by how expensive it was (I did not want to spoil his dining experience). Since I was already fifty dollars into this, (And the food was actually very good) I decided "What the heck and gave the waitress a $10 dollar tip (20%). The lesson that I learned that when watching food vlogs on TH-cam and a restaurant catches your attention, before visiting it, make sure to Google the menu of that restaurant's so you know the prices before you go there hahahaha

(Also, other customers there were really friendly and offered other suggestions on what to eat next time). We also showed the cook your video on TH-cam. I just subscribed to your channel and my friend, and I agreed that next weekend we will try the "Dim Sum" place that you also mentioned at the beginning of the video. Great question! it's up to you; most dim sum spots in sf get their dim sum from the same supplier (and overpriced anyway loool). For takeaway, Good Mong Kok is good. For sit-down, Hong Kong Lounge & Dumpling Kitchen are good for no-frills. For fancy dim sum, there's Palette Tea House and Dragon Beaux. If you want a view of the waterfront, Harborview Restaurant and Bar (although it's more for the view than the food).
