    Laura, I have a question about the sweater you're wearing in this tutorial. Is it your Vindur pattern? I really love the look of it. The colors are perfect together. But I'll wager you already knew that. LOL! Oh and I love the pattern and as always, your helpful tutorial videos!

      Oh, thank you!!! It is Gola, which is the DK weight version of Vindur!

    This is super - thank you! And for the pattern, which I'm about to cast on. QQ: should the yarn tail be 6.5x the length of 10 stitches (+ a little extra) as only 65 stitches use the yarn tail and the other 65 use the working yarn?

    Thank you for the pattern, and helpful starting instructions, Laura. Is that stitch pick-up (at mid-hood) to soften the point done that one time only, or every row?

    • @LauraNelkin
      @LauraNelkin  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Just on that first set up row! Your stitch count doesn't change again until you get to the decrease section!

    Could I use turkish cast on as due to arthritic fingers I find this cast on difficult ? I thought about it and decided to purchase on ravelry and take a risk ,pleased I did as I found another of your patterns ,3 FER. , has perfect fingerless mitts included .thanks for the generous discount too ,a lovely surprise at checkout 😊 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

      Yes, you can definitely use the Turkish Cast On instead!

    For the last stitch of Judy’s magic cast on I always make a backwards thumb loop cast on so it anchors the last stitch and you don’t have to juggle a fiddly loose stitch.

      Oh, that's a cool tip! I will have to try it next time!

    I am completely flummoxed by picking up that last stitch in the first row. I've watched 15 times, done the cast on exactly as you did and simply cannot replicate the last stitch or find the "bump " that is so clear in the video. Feeling quite inept at the moment. I've purchased the pattern but cannot get past that stitch to really get started,.
