Nice editing here Thane. I like how you layered the audio of the man speaking over the still photos, so that the pace of the video would not be bogged down by just watching him stand there talking. Excellent decision in editing. Well done Thane.

Thanks, we actually took a quick course from one of our favorite TH-cam content creators (www.thenomadicmovement.com) that offer a $40 course and we are incorporating some of their great suggestions and insight to creating good content. We obviously have a ways to go, but each time we release something it will be getting more "artistic" and we hope entertaining...not just informative.

By the way, what sort of editor are you using in this video? Is it pretty intuitive?

For the time being we've liked Mini Tool Movie Maker as it is both easy to use for beginners to wrap their heads around but quick to add in advance editing features that they offer. Every release has more and more new stuff to try out. We went with the three PC license as Judy wants to start making one episode a month soon to focus on the "life" and "lifestyle" of living on the Nature Preserve while I keep producing one or so a month primarily focused on the maintenance, building and sometimes just basic survival of living out there. We still go back at least once a month for a three day weekend to work on projects. Anyway, we bought the ultimate plan and never have to pay anything again beyond the initial $59, Mini Tool Movie maker is: moviemaker.minitool.com/pricing

Also, finally shelled out the big bucks to get a nice drone, so I'm hoping next episode, if I don't crash and destroy this unit like the last two "cheap" ones, we should be incorporating some great aerial footage soon of the area, cheers!
