Great reation! Amira sang with André Rieu at the age of 10. Here it was three years later. The large arena, the massive audience, the super-production sponsored by Lexus, the variety of musical instruments, the fantastic arrangement, the sophistication of the choreography, the top-notch filming, all indicate only one thing: a queen is about to perform. In the final riffs Amira projects a long D6, followed by a very high and beautiful Eb6. And she continues to sing and even projects a powerful G5 at the end. We can count on our fingers how many soprano singers in the world can do that. But at the age of 13, none.
She is the best. She had already sung a brilliant Nessun Dorma, and The Flower Duet, with partner Corlea Botha, earlier in the show.to a similar high standard. When she sang with Andre Rieu, in 2014, she was 10. 13 here in 2017. You've skipped over a few notable performances between those dates. O Sole Mio with Patrizio Buanne is one. Live in concert, - Nella Fantasia is another, and of course the impressive Ave Maria, Gomez. I'm enjoying the journey with you.

After her victory at HGT, in January 2014 Amira got a recording contract with SONY Masterworks and a singing coach who specialised in teaching children, her name was Maike van der Weil. Dutch children are limited by law to 12 appearances a year; and the maximum duration of a contract with a minor is three years. She recorded two albums in that time. In January 2017, that contract ran out, and Coleske Artists (Pretoria, South Africa) snapped her up, subject to fairly similar legal requirements. This performance was in the Moreleta auditorium in Pretoria - which seats about 7500 - at the second "Classics is Groot" concert; it was the 19th item of 31 items on the program - Amira also appeared in items 14 & 15 (as others have described) and at the end of the show, the whole cast including Amira participated in a performance of "My Way".

Nella Fantasia is another of Amira's spectacular stage performances... And for a truly spiritual experience, even if you were an atheist... Nothing could surpass the young 12 year old Amira singing William Gomez's Ave Maria in St Canisus church.. absolutely beautiful..
In addition to John Newton's hymn she sang two more items at this concert in South Africa: Nessun Dorma and The Flower Duet (CIG 2017). Thank you for your excellent Reaction; can we hope for more?
Great comment. Listen to her song , Ave Maria by Gomez! Her Father playing organ, her Mother flute. (Makes a little mistake during the song) and her Brother playing violin! But 10 years when she sing!. Unbelievable how much control she has with her Angelic Voice! For sure you will be supriced!
