What a great Christmas present for her boys and hubby. When she got her surprise, I cried right along with her. That was very special and it touched my heart..
Her two sons must be so proud of her. They must miss her a lot, I couldn't imagine my Mother being gone for that long. I have full respect for this lady she give up a lot for her country. Everyone in America and the rest of the world should support their troops for being so selfless and giving up so much to protect them.
My daughter got to come home for Christmas before deploying later this month. She surprised me while I was at the mall, of course my husband and younger daughter were in on it. Less than a minute after we finished, a girl that couldn't be more than 13, with tears in her eyes, came up to my daughter and thanked her for her service.
Till this happens to you, you will never know just how much it means to get a welcome home like this for a person who has been away serving their country. Whenever you can make this happen people.
thats what makes this story that much more special because not everyone would sacrifice their lives and their time with their family to defend what they love about this country and to give people like you the ability and the right to make the same choice. you rock Dawn, my utmost respect to you and yours.
This video is a heartwarming story about a woman reuniting with her family after serving her country. Your negative comments are not wanted. They are not appreciated. If a woman wants to serve in the military then that is her right and choice. Also, seeing as though she is alive, I'm pretty sure she was fast enough and strong enough to make it through a war zone. She is strong and has two beautiful sons who will grow up knowing that both men and women are equally strong. This is a great thing.
believing in imaginary characters is never a good thing shameful what the fuck about this makes you want to make young humans believe in fake things? REALLY?????????????????
Amazing down to the standing O! As a wife of a man who served in Desert Shield/ Desert storm I thank you for all that you do and ALL that you give up & miss out on. Welcome Home
Damn onions!! Maybe cause I'm pregnant too, yeah, that's what it is. Why do I watch these knowing exactly how these families feel. When my Marine returned after 6 months, it seemed like an eternity. So happy for these families.
This made me cry but when the star spangled banner started I just started balling. This videos are very touching, it's always good to c a soldier return to its family
Negligence is not doing one's duty. Sacrificing to do one's duty is something that people like him/her will not understand. It takes a strong person to live with the things that are demanded of us in the military. But it is moments like this that make those sacrifices worth enduring.
WELCOME HOME DAWN. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO FOR OUR COUNTRY. YOUR MOVING TO INDY. BUT NEVER FORGET THE BURGH. PITTSBURGH LOVES YINZ!!!!!!!!!! BLACK AN GOLD FOR LIFE!!!
ugh...I would never be able to leave my children.I am SO supportive of her! But I dont know how a mommy can leave! It's great that she is going to be home and stay for awhile though!
I envy the respect and love that Americans have to their military, in Argentina it is never seen, and the last time military returned to the country after a war, only their families received them... :(
i love videos like this because in my opinion the women that serve in the armed forces dont get nearly enough recinition then the men. you are always hearing about brothers coming home, fathers coming, sons coming home, etc. why dont we here more about moms, sister, etc coming. Thank you for your service Capt McCracken .
This is why they make the sacrifices, so that you won't have to! My advice to you is to get down on your knees every night when you kiss your precious children good night and thank God for those who sacrifice what you can't so that you can sleep in peace every night knowing that you and your children are as safe as they can be! God bless and I pray that you will always be safe as well!
"Dad?" "Yes, honey.." "Where is Mom?" "Now, she is living in heaven, because she died in iraq" "Why did she join the forces and wanted to fight in war?" ".... Oh, look! Spongebob is in TV" Moms in wars, dads at home...
hockeygoon79 because its ridiculous, that mothers fight in war... they have a responsibility and duty to care for their children... (sry for my bad english but this isnt my first language)

What makes her husbands life any less precious than hers? Why would it be any better for him to lose his life than it is for her to lose hers?
What's your point?
hockeygoon79 because its ridiculous, that mothers fight in war... they have a responsibility and duty to care for their children...
(sry for my bad english but this isnt my first language)
Truknafets I don't know. I was raised by my father and I came out just fine.
Truknafets Who says the Mother has the responsibility to care for the child? There are two parents, they are equally responsible for their child.
This made me cry :(
Now ill ask Santa for an iPhone lol
