- A simple, but generally comprehensive walk around tour of MS Volendam of Holland America Line, 7-Day Alaska Inside Passage Cruise from Vancouver BC. Built in 1999, MS Volendam carries about 1400 passengers and 600 crew members.
The video is not edited much, so please watch on fast forward if desired. There is neither music added nor talking, but of course you are welcome to play some in the background while watching, or listen to the background sounds. :)
The tour starts on Deck 9 (Sports Deck) and makes its way around the ship one deck down at a time. Some decks only have staterooms, and the hallways all look the same, so I didn't walk all of them IF they were the same. So don't worry you aren't missing much.

The camera man/woman went way too fast with the camera. There should have been some commentary since that was I was doing to myself as I was watching. I am going on the Volendam for the Grand SA/Antarctica Voyage in 2022. I see that the ship is exactly laid out as the Amsterdam which I had been on several times. Glad to note, however, that the cabins have been redone. Hopefully that goes for the cabin that I am in on my trip. I am truly tired of the brown, orange and gold stripe throw pillows in the cabins. Thanks for doing this but do slow down the next time!!!

Nice but as with some of my own gopro footage video gets blurry when turning to film a different area.
is there anything to do there with the kids? like kids clubs or any other activities to keep the children busy?
Sorry, I know the ship well and it's great, However you move the camera far too quickly and it's a blur and makes you giddy. Slow down You are only on day one of your Alaskan Cruise

One of the ugliest ships I have been. The service is not the best and the bathrooms work with difficulty. The sewage line was dripping on the third level. 🤮
Very amateurish. I've seen better home movies. Needs more editing, captions, still shots.
That’s because he was an amateur. I think it was nice of home to take the time and show us.
