    Oooo, I actually knew what this was through intuition lol. I referenced the BASIC stamp and this is seemingly, it's older but more in-depth predecessor that surely led to it's development much later in the 90's.
    I suppose both can be perceived as what led us to Arduino which I foolishly mistook for something it is not until actually researching it a couple years ago.
    *Man did I miss the bus on that one, and I've had one for a good 10 years!*
    The explanation I was given related it to the Raspberry Pi, another one I own and that they were oriented for learning software language without it being stated they are in fact, both microcontroller equipped development and prototyping machines.

      This particular one was owned by a composer named Richard Teitelbaum, so I initially thought it may be some kind of square wave musical output (although yeah cassette was always more likely.)
