Very impressive piece of equipment. But this is too easy, like driving a Ferrari in stop and go traffic. I want to see it on a narrow, curvy, hilly, road with boulders and heavy brush--and mailboxes to avoid.
Love the "roar" of the Xerion and that operator has some skills!!! A bit of automation guidance when the heads are set would help.

Ok, so it's faster! But a lot of work for just one guy, i mean he has to drive a tractor and manually operated 4 arms at the same time!! He must how really big paycheck or this job just isn't worth the trouble!

Sander De Vogelaere T'Jampens hadden we nog gebeld maar stond stil met pech en wist niet of hij die dag nog ging rijden. Verder hadden we Van Loo nog gebeld maar die was net klaar. Uiteindelijk zijn we via loonbedrijf Neyt Arsène naar huis gegaan.

Sure, as a mechaniker ... you know, this was the typical attitude when the steam maschines started to appear. Destroy the evil maschines ... dude seriously? Are you living in the middleage? Driver as a profession maybe will dissappear in the future, but there gonna be different type of jobs opening.
@@jhoxihum3230well. It's not like this is the only job on the farm. He can do something else. Driver's role becomes more and more supervisory. The nextGen tractors are already using GPS mapping and a series of sensors and able to correct themselves up to some point. Next step from that is just full automation. Sure, this one will be harder to do than a field tractor, but you can imagine a series of sensors and cameras working to guide this contraption.
Now this, is multitasking!

Octopus must be referring to the creature that should be operating the controls. That's really a lot of minute adjustments for a human to make efficiency. ... You need an alien or maybe a computer controlling those arms.
