I don't mind AI, but i HATE the idea that people are taking advantage of it for "professional" use.
Why start a company, hire artists, animators, modellers, writers, directors, pay for equipment, etc. When you can just pay a small fee to an AI, draft a script in under an hour, and have it fully rendered and feature length in a day?
Less work, more money! Because its all money! Hollywood would implode in an instant if profit was removed from the equation. Only a few people are passionate anymore, thankfully they tend to be tempting to hire for directive roles. But im sure youve seen many uninspired, bland, and bad movies.

Despite being horribly made, Video Brinquedo is actually kind of interesting. At least it's so bad it's funny and once you see it you'll never forget it. The problem with a lot of this AI crap is that it looks soulless and forgettable. You can tell real people didn't make it.

I imagine that Disney will sort of just look like a hypocrite for suing this trailer, my reason to think that is because Disney itself is promoting AI usage such as making actors look younger, they have an entire movie that basically makes AI the good guys. So they either might or let the creator off with a single warning, and if that creator makes another ripoff trailer, Disney might actually sue them.

The problem isn't the tool or the AI, the problem is how people use it, it shouldn't be considered normal to use it to steal or earn money
well people can earn money with ai, just not this way. Imagine if ai is used to create frames between 2D-animated frames that otherwise would cost millions of dollars and thousands of hours to draw. With AI, those frames between actual frames can be automatically generated for smoother motion and look like actual animation. It's just one of the areas ai can be used *without* taking people's job but making different projects possible.

Current AI isn’t actually trained to recognize anything, which is why it’s so notorious for fucking up certain details, like hands for example. It’s basically trying to create the more accurate recreation of what we define something as, thus leading to cases like where it was attempted to be trained to make a fish, but mostly drew guys holding something, becuase it had ‘learned’ that that’s fish always had someone holding it in the pictures it sent. It had no concept of the difference between that fish and that person. To have something do what you’re suggesting we’d need an AI that can understand and read the concept of the lines and the colour and the movement and context and probably even prompting for what to do with it, which is a huge change and difference from ‘most accurately recreate the general idea of these thing I’ve been shown 100 pictures of’

@@jacksauce on paper, that sounds like a cool idea, but ai just isn’t perfect. In fact, I think even 30 years from now ai-generated videos are not gonna come close to the quality of actual movies. As much as I would love to have a movie instantly generated, a lot of hard work and effort also goes into making movies and I wouldn’t wanna take it with a grain of salt and just pump out ai video after ai video. Technology has come to a point where just about anyone can make movies with a simple prompt, and soon really good directors, producers, writers, and more who have been able to create spectacular pieces of cinema will get thrown out and replaced with ai much like the talented artists that got thrown out because of the whole ai art fiasco going on. In short, I don’t wanna promote this. While you are absolutely free to use ai and create something that will make you happy, don’t try to use it for views and make it your main source for content. Otherwise, people who do are lazy, inexperienced creators who don’t understand true art.

There are a lot of comments fearmongering about AI taking over the world, but honestly, this video proves to me that it won’t. I’m happy that AI isn’t capable of making animation good enough for a full-length movie. It’s so uncanny and inconsistent, even worse than the cheapest CGI, and I have a feeling that even children wouldn’t like it. AI will never be profitable, because its very existence is cheap.

yeh.. ai sucks at animation because it simply tries to find the quickest way to do it which means if you were to ask an ai to move a stick figure from 1 point of the screen to another it would probably just make the stick figure stand still and move to the side. But if a person was animating it they would probably give it more emotion make its limbs move stuff like that because a human knows that its appealing to the eye. I think we should just let ai stick to doing our homework.

The reason I'm not worried about AI animations taking jobs from real animators isn't because they look bad, but because AI bros never bother to edit and correct all of the many mistakes and inconsistencies that AI always makes. There seems to be a mistake in every shot of this trailer. I can't imagine the amount of work and time it would take to sift through each frame and shot to fix it. You might as well animate it by hand at that point.

@@Dracovenatrix bro, we’ve got incompetent or authoritarian governments all around the world, inflation has gone out of hand, people can barely get jobs or afford housing, and capitalism has garnered more and more controversy. Don’t get me wrong, we’re not living in 1984, but you can’t convince me that right now everything is fine.
@@TheToxicTig3r its an improvement over the interwar period and heck our current state is pretty similar political division, incompetent politicians, economic depression, far right governments and people scraping the barrel for anything. Today is still an improvement and you act like every country is a dictatorship while most of them are in africa which can still be fixed if a gokd man comes along. The economic state is bad but nowhere near as bad as other recessions sure its not as rich as in the 80s or 90s but its still an improvement and capitalism has always kinda sucked but Atleast they aren’t exposing workers to uranium anymore. The truth is yes the world isnt fine but this isnt anything new its just a repeat of history except for the ai part but at the same time that can be fixed with some restrictions
