- This lesson to explain to you how to paint the light and shadow first so a lighter area in the shadow side will still be part of the shadow shape, and how to see the color reflection to the wall.

Hello from Mexico, I´m 78 , retired, taken a few shops on charcoal. oils , watercolor, and lino engraving, but honestly your expertise and way of teaching is superb , even your narrative relaxes me . Thank you so much !
Felicitaciones!! El tigre esta hermoso. Maestro muchas gracias por sus videos. He aprendido. 😊
I'm 70 yrs young, have always dabbled in pencil sketches, a little acrylic but have always wanted to watercolor. I saw my first youtube video of yours during the pandemic (the candle with dark background). I've been following you since. I'm only a little improved, but don't have a lot of time for practice. Still working small and too controlled. I love your narrative and encouragement. Thank you for your generous sharing!
I'm 56 years old, from Thailand.
I think, I can't painting for a long time. After saw your teaching, it made me encouraged and confident to draw and paint.
Everytime saw you leading painting, it look like art therapy. You voice your technic make me feel clam down, do not panic.
More than 5 years, I follow you. There are many pictures which I do follow you. It made me cool.
Thank you and respect you.

So do I. His candle with black background was my first tutorial. I remember how looooong I was painting this 😅 But it looks so good!
You amaze me with your painting.
Wow 🤩 Awesome painting👏👏👏 You are an amazing artists and an even amazing teacher🙏
I’m 80 years old Southern gentleman from the state of Georgia. In the United States.
I really like the way you talk and paint.
I’m retired and learning to paint… your videos with the explanation are very helpful . Thank u.😊
Adoro come interpreti gli animali e il loro ambiente, amo il tuo stile artistico e la tua calma e serenità nell'insegnare. Sei un grande artista 👏👏👏
Very beautiful ❤❤
Please narrate as you always have---you are a master of your craft. Amazing painting. Thank you for sharing.
Washington State checking in. Retired female Merchant Marine. Second year of watercolor. Some experience with acrylic. Favorite subjects: portraits and landscapes from around the world. I like the humor of artist Norman Rockwell. I have ET(NOT fatal, just annoying essential tremors) and this is helping with my handwriting. I like pictures that make me feel calm/happy/uplifted. Hot press is a bit easier than more textured papers for brush control. I'm working up to cold/rough press. Creating a full picture takes about a week. I try to get a small practice in every day. Please keep talking, you have a pleasant voice.
Beautiful
Can anyone answer please
Does he use winsor blue green shade and windor yellow for his greens???
Thx
Winsor yellow and Prussian blue, according to the video notes.
The link in the description has those colors but i have seen he uses prussian blue sometimes as well. Sometimes a bit of red can help to tone it down. to control the values but too much will turn it a lovely brown shade.
cerulean blue is a safe bet for a natural blue.
Thanks
I really appreciate your response.@@jefferywarburton2116
Thanks
I am trying to figure out warm and cool temperatures of blue and yellow while making green.
For instance what green will be produced by mixing warm yellow and warm blue etc
At one point i thought he used ultramarine for green in one of his videos
But yes you are right mainly prussian and w8nsor yellow
