I’ve heard if you use more pressure with both hands the nails will go deeper into the wood just below the surface. I have this, and tried using it for the first time today, didn’t realise you had to push soo hard; might be returning this.

Screwfix spec it as Second Fix, and say it can take 32mm brad nails, so maybe an improved version in an old box

32 is just an allowance for the 30 in case you got a 30 nail which is a little bit longer. Like a voltage of 220v to 240v.

I have one of these. It will indeed take 32mm nails but I find it's a bit hit and miss on whether you actually get the nail all the way in. That's why they say up to 25mm. A decent nail gun tho

2nd fix nail guns are ideal for interior work, general woodwork finishing, they use smaller nails.
1st fix nail guns are more powerful machines that use larger
nails for heavy duty framing applications.
