Can you do this again, only as Switzerland? Would be interesting to see how much the mountains plus mountain warfare tech would have an effect against zombies.
It’s a good idea and maybe once the new dlc comes out there will be fortification focuses but you would run out of manpower within the first year of war with the horde

It's fine because you are surrounded by Allies practically (Allies and Axis who are at war with zombie)
And no matter which path you choose you always win, like you can be Fascist and you'd still be allies with the French and you can be Democratic but still allied with Germany and Italy

I think planes would be a good idea because how are the zombies supposed to deal with them you don’t need fighters but bombers
air superiority gives good bonus too but you only need few fighters if enemy doesn't have them.while close air support scales better with larger numbers

But still marginal as i find cas really good is taking away org from enemies but with 2000 org...yea it wont work
If you're equating this to reality, you'd have to incinerate them, as "head shots" are pretty tough from the air, especially with WW2 optics. Now, you COULD build some sort of helicopter with a rotor on the bottom as well as the top - then just fly in low and "whackwhackwhack".
They need to go back and refuel at the nearest safe air base or they'll go down in a bad place. If the zombie infection gets out of hand quickly, you'll find that safe places to land and refuel/rearm for another sortie are going to decrease increasingly fast.

just a note: CAS will be your friend. The longer a battle goes, the more damage CAS will do, and thus the more KIA you'll rack up.
Edit: its also cheese; but air superiority will also slow down the zeds, reducing their ability to encircle you.

Get heavy self propelled arty. Those things are few in number for deployment, but both armored and pack a TON of soft attack.

It looks like zombies can be pushed back pretty easily from behind, I would for example make land troops in Portugal and crash them between my forces and France, and so on.
Good idea to do the Berlin-Moscow Axis focus to try and help the Soviets. Also helps against the stupidly buffed Allies in the future

I love the reference, however, for those who wish to do a debate, I believe the Redeker plan, while "inhumane" perhaps, it is most definitely an effective plan that uses some lives to secure the security of others. It's purely a numbers and statistics game. If you leave 100 survivors in a semi secure area, this will attract zeds. But if the zeds dont get "food", they will most likely lose interest. So therefore it is necessary to "accidentally" leave someone outside the area. And the zeds that do lose interest will be much fewer than if there was no food.
The light tank and plentiful artillery is your best friend.
Just enough Infantry to have some HP, a light tank to get armor value, and artillery for maximum soft attack.
Watch the zombie hordes disintegrate.
Perfect time for this to be recommended

There is a way to mass accept those. Just left click on all of the icons, then just hold down Enter. Enter is hotkeyed to accept. Not super fast. But, faster than the "normal" way.

It amazes me something like this wasn't put in the base game by the developers. This is so fitting for this game, I can't believe it. I feel like game developers are missing out of so many great opportunities.

You can "mass accept" things like non-aggression pacts and military access requests by simply holding down the enter key and left clicking on them.

Hey Pravus, if you want undead with more flavour, try Equestria at War. You can play as the Dread League and play as undead with more depth. And you can kill little ponies.
You'd think Superior Firepower + CAS would shred, if soft attack is your concern.
Grand seems good, superior with the 20% oft attack and the 5% in shock and awe also look great, especially the bonus org in support companies, signal is a must in this mode IMO. maybe even try mass mob for the supply usage? so you can field more troops in the areas, especially when the infratructure is dieing.

I know someone in youtube where the whole game just started not making sense. A peace deal that literally was insane: Made the horde annex Raj while the other territories it had was annexed, the horde joining the anti-zombie alliance, the horde's leader became Alf Landon I think, the anti-zombie alliance at war with a faction I forgot, you know, insane stuff.
I view the zombie hoard as just modernity

In terms of pumping men into the field wouldn't it be faster to train cavalry divisions as they require so much less infantry equipment and when they are out turn them into infantry divisions. Yes you would be in a severe inf equip deficit but for the purpose of getting those landmark numbers for Nat Foc unlock it should work and the deficit should work itself out... In time.

That's because South America is hell to fight through in HOI4, particularly in the north.
Get your army training immediately for extra fighting bonuses and army xp. You should also choose generals with defence traits.
The soviets doing the purge is a good idea because if it doesn't happen or they wait too long then they are gaurnetted to have a civil war later on. Doing it now while the horde is still weak is better than having to deal with the horde late game + a civil war if u ask me.
