I love Jodi Benson!! I met her in Carnegie Hall at Alan Manken's event, on April 30,2018. She performs the same voice. I almost fainted after meeting her.
That's so awesome, I totally wish I could sit and have a conversation with her. She seems like a wealth of knowledge. Thanks for sharing! 💕 are you planning to read her book?
I love watching your videos so much!! Your energy is wonderful & inspiring! You remind me to smile and feel all of the emotions associated with life. Keep posting, Jennifer!! We love seeing you 😊❤️
I'm really so glad I did though! Lol I wanted to be honest, because someone else may be in the same boat as me and you never know if that gives them the nudge they needed! Lol I'm not even completely done with the book, but I am towards the end, but so far, I mean, it's literally a must read, especially for anyone who loves Disney classics and anyone remotely interested in anything performing. 😆
Thanks for your take in this, Jenn. I am always looking for new boos to read and Jodi is super talented so this would be a very interfering read for sure. I am currently “Listening” to something else but this will be next in my list. God Bless, Jenn and I hope you and your family have a beautiful Christmas Season and New Year. Oh, and hang in there with the home schooling Lady, you’re doing amazing.
I gotta ask, what are you listening to right now? Lol I've got a long list of "to read" books, but I'm so curious to know what everyone's reading to continue adding to my "to read" list 😆
@@QuinceyG aww! I've never heard of Michael Ausiello 🤔 cheers to reading moving books though! I just looked it up and it sounds like it has emotional aspects also! 💕
@@OakesPrincess I just strayed this book because I saw a movie trailer for it recently. The movie is coming out in a week or so and I wanted to read it first. :) It seems like a beautiful a story, and j kinda need an emotional story at the moment 😂
Awesome review, I am a Disney fan as you know Jennifer but I'm typically not a fan of these autobiographies. But your review is making me want to give it a try. On a side note Lord of the Rings is a masterpiece, glad you're reading it and reviewing it!
Maybe checking it out from the library? So you don't have to pay for it? Or do the audiobook, so it gets "read to you," and then it's more like a podcast 😆 and at least your hands are free to do whatever, lol... puzzle? Cleaning? Art? I didn't think I'd get much from Jodi's book initially, but she definitely carries you with her on her road to Ariel and it's fascinating learning about what all goes into creating someone who one day becomes the voice talent for one of the most beloved characters all time! As for Lord of the Rings--Yes! I'm a little more than halfway through the Fellowship of the Ring portion of the book, Frodo is almost to Rivendell 😬 those crazy riders are relentless! And I'm excited to learn more about Strider & to see how he compares to the movie version 😁 I'm about to edit a review of video comparing Disney's Aladdin to the actual book of "Arabian Nights" (1,001 nights) which folks may find interesting..I know I was always kinda curious, lol But back to Frodo, once I finish the Fellowship of the Rings, I'll definitely throw up the book review... 😄 Lotr feels underrated as a book to me right now
@@OakesPrincess definitely an underrated book. I love how descriptive Tolkien was, I instantly get a mental picture of what's happening with everything that's written. Looking forward to your Aladdin video, it's crazy how much Disney changed for so many of the fairytale adaptations. Rightfully so, I mean, as Dad I don't think I would want my kids seeing what really happens in Snow White for example, it's pretty violent lol

Beyond Ariel I'm completely unfamiliar with Jodi, but your review has made me want to download it. Thanks for the tip! Looking forward to it!
Lemme know what you think!!
she really was a real inspiration to me when she talks about grief and going through serious issues.
I also have autism and would love to meet her and tell thank you for writing this book
love that!

The audiobook had me crying, too! This is a fantastic book.

Added her book to my Christmas list!
