Which is to say, both are very nice. I love Teles.

P.S. I prefer the Am Standard. Both are very nice. I also own a Harley Benton. My first "Teletype" ax.' Love it .

Both sound so similar, but how was the playability for you?I would find it hard to decide.

It is definitely hard to decide. They play and feel really different, mostly because of the necks. The custom shop has fatter and more narrow fretboard, most vintage while the American standard has a modern feel to it. Both great guitars
