Breeder is a perfect description because the more kids they have the more subsistence they get. The single mom over my head has 3 or 4 kids and they are always home. You don't need to work if you live on hand outs. I wouldn't care but they are obnoxiously loud at all hours of the night. What kind of dumb ass would allow their child to run back and forth at 2AM?
My parents had a one story house, and we were still NOT allowed to run around inside like this. For one thing, it's much more dangerous as things can fall. I had stitches in my head from running around the house and hitting my head on the piano. People need to actually parent...take your kids outside, to sports, etc. My parents were far from perfect, but they at least did those things. Parents are just plain lazy now.
I’m dealing with this right now and have been for the past year. I’m finally moving and this time I’m making sure I’m on the top floor apartment.. it’s a nightmare being on the bottom floor if you live under the most disrespectful tenants who seem to purposely stomp and yell all day and night. I’ve banged on the walls and screamed sometimes at 2am to try and get them to stop, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. I’ve called the landlord and they won’t do shit so I have no choice but to move
If you have HOA, you can try to complain to fine them with recordings. Depending on where you live, they will tell you children are protected but everyone has a right to peaceful enjoyment regardless. There are also no Limits to complaining…if they actually do something about it.
@Lamrich Gaming yeah I have to pay more also it sucks not only are apartments annoying to live in because of annoying neighbors but now the prices are out of control everywhere.. I'm thinking of buying a house next year I cant take it anymore
@@noisyneighbors9885 I'm not sure if we have hoa honestly but I'm leaving in less than 2 weeks anyways so I guess it doesnt matter. Its just sad what people have to deal with in these apartments when your paying ALOT of money but yet you cant even get a goodnight sleep for work the next day
We have this same issue. We just moved in to our new apartment and little did we know, the walls and ceiling is paper thin. Our upstairs neighbor have a 2 year old. We tolerate him runnning all day bec we do understand there is nothing you can do with toddler noise but at 1:30AM this toddler still runs around. That to me is totally unacceptable. Children should be asleep by 8-9pm. Definitely the parent’s responsibility to set a proper bed time. I’ve been using Mack’s earplugs and it blocks out almost all the noise. Worth a try!
I feel like I’m in the twighlight zone, this is the same exact sounds I’m hearing right now in my apartment. I have my headphones on and I took them off for a second like wait a minute. Holy hell all kids sound the same with the running and jumping!!!!
I feel your pain!! My neighbors upstairs have 2 toddlers and they’re constantly running and jump on the floor which shakes my walls. The parents have the TVs and music full blast until past 12am. It’s maddening and I feel like I’m going crazy over it. The worst part is the apartment manager doesn’t do shit about it. They just let it happen. I’ve been complaining about this family for a year now and it’s still going. And apparently these bastards have renewed their lease so now I’m stuck with them for another year!! Even with all of my complaints they’re still able to stick around and quite literally torture me. I feel like I’m losing my mind and I’m not kidding nor exaggerating either!! Oh and they have a baby that’s due any day now 🤦🏼♀️
Imma start banging a tennis ball all night. Also get speakers and turn then on at night. Mine are telling us their child is at day care, and she isn't, they are not taking her outside, so shes running all day
@@BG-jy6rx yes I don’t think any of these types of parents can afford day care…which is why we have to suffer. We have a park two blocks away. I don’t understand why they don’t go use it.
Yes! I think all the managers care about is money. I'm also losing my sanity. Had a neighbor with 2 kids running marathons everyday. She moved out. Then new neighbors with a 3 yr old and he sounds like he's a grown man throwing himself around up there, vibrating my counters and table. And the adults walk with heavy feet and slam cabinets. Feeling like you're going nuts is real and can be depressing. I cry every day now. Hang in there...you're not alone 😔
I have tried so hard talking to my Neighbors for the past 5 years . They seem to do it all the more when u complain . So since lockdown i have been the one making all the noise at the times they sleep . Karma is bliss . They have parked their car in front of my driveway stopping me from going to work for so long... Cutting a long story short......Just play their game back ...
@@Mossyz. do you miss work ? How do you get your car out if they’re in your way. What do you do to make noise to wake them up? 5 years you’ve been doing this?
To people saying things like "go to court" "call the police" etc. You have no idea how impossible it is to do anything with such problem, you will lose nerve, money and it will take years and even if itvworks and they get evicted, guess what... Another asshole will move there with kids because only young couples are looking for apartments, not old single people. Theres no winning until the law gets changed. People terrorize others with children, let them do whatever they want and have no rules, creating generation of selfish assholes, worse than themselves.
Yes, people are disrespectful and are raising disrespectful kids. Misery loves company. The only power/control some people will ever have is to terrorize other people with their unruly undisciplined children.
Might want to re-read your lease agreement, see if there is anything about excessive noise in it. In my apartments where I live, there IS. It states in ours that residents can NOT be a nuisance and they can NOT make excessive noise any hour of the day or night, or it is a violation of their lease agreement.
This has been my life for 15 months now. It goes on every evening from at least 9pm to 11pm. Very very often later than 11pm. I talked to the board for our neighborhood. They won't do anything about it.
I know your struggle. My upstairs neighbor has 3 kids with 2 different women and one of them runs back and forth all day long because he never takes them anywhere. He’s already a nightmare to live under because he cusses and yells so loud that the people who used to live across from me could hear him. Not only that, but the person who lives on the other side of me also hears him. He’s a vet with major anger issues. However, they refuse to throw him out despite all the complaints that have been made against him from multiple tenants.
@@noisyneighbors9885 I’m so sorry. Mine plays video games when he’s home then he gets two of his kids sometime during the week and the terror on the weekends. At least I get a break when he actually works. I hope someday we can both move or they move 🤞🏻
I live below a family of four who are renting and they have no insulation under their wooden flooring which means I hear every footstep. I have tried complaining but the owner of the flat who rents it out is friends with the managing agent and is given a free pass to do whatever he likes (including building works till midnight). I have this exact same problem but for the past year I have somewhat gained my sanity back by using a white noise machine (Lectrofan) which masks the thudding.
That's exactly what I'm going through right now from 6am everyday, throughout the day and into the night. So depressed 😢😢😢 These types of self-centred people will one day mess with the wrong neighbour.
@@noisyneighbors9885 landlords don’t care. I’ve complained about music by other neighbors. It falls on deaf ears. Landlord keep bringing same crappy type of neighbors in. I live in a crappy area and housing is expensive to move at a affordable place. Pandemic less availabilities. I’m ready to move but can’t find no places right now. My life sucks in this building.
Where’s the karma?? I’ve been waiting for over a year for my asshole neighbors to get the karma they deserve. I just can’t believe people can be so inconsiderate. Makes me sick. My mental health is deteriorating everyday because of their noise.
@@sunnydaze5674 We are going through the same exact thing. It’s been a year and nothing has changed , a family of 6 lives above me and it’s driving me insane.
I've been going through this crap ever since I moved into my apartment 2 years ago. Ive lived at the same complex for 10 years, in 8 of those 10 i never have to write a one complaint. In the last 2 years I've had 3 different families and 1 general maintenance guy and 1 maintenance supervisor above me in those 2 years. The first family allowed their 2 kids to run, jump, scream, etc at all hours of the day and night. I had spoken with the property manager about the issue, she insured me that they would get a notice to cease. The letter lasted about 2 weeks then the noise started right back up. I sent my next complaints via email with sound and video attachments. The vibrations from the kids running and jumping would set off my cameras. Eventually they were given the ultimatum of leaving on their own or be brought to court, they left on their own. The next family was the maintenance guy, absolutely no control over his 3 kids. I spoke with him one on one about it and he responded the same "you can control your dog's I can't control my kid". I was dumbfounded. It continued for a few more weeks which forced my hand to send a complaint to the management office. He was fired, not because of the noise but because he lied on his job application. Turned out he didn't know a damn thing about building maintenance. The next family I thought I'd get along with because the wife is an army veteran like myself. Everything was cool for a few months until the husband became the child. I'm pretty sure he would do swan dives off the bed, couch and bar. He smoked weed which I didn't care about but he couldn't handle it. He'd start his coughing fits and jump up and down at 3 in the morning. Daily the husband and wife would argue, I learned from the arguments that's he's a shit father and she should have never married him. They eventually moved. Next was the maintenance supervisor who was given carte blanche. He'd renovate the apartment at 2 in the morning. Hammering, sawing, drilling. My girlfriend was friends with the property manager, now regional manager. She expressed her concerns and explained that our newborn is being prevented from sleeping. She said she would take care of it. His mentality is, the rules for thee do not apply to me. About 2 weeks later the regional stops my girlfriend and inquires about his flat tire, she replied the dry rotted one? The maintenance supervisor came out during their conversation, accusing one of us for slashing his tire (all were legit dry rotted) getting within inches of my girlfriends face cussing and calling her every name in the book. This guy is still currently employed BTW. They eventually moved him because the police got involved. Now it's a family with a child who runs nonstop from 6am-10pm. I'm not one to call the police and bother them with nonsense mentioned above when it can be handled in house. We can't catch a break. I know many will say move but unfortunately that isn't an option at the moment due to the fact of every apartment being so damn expensive.
Like it’s driving me so crazy I want to build a damn shack in the woods! If I could get WiFi I really would. I have health issues so I’m stuck home 24/7. There are so many horrible horrible neighbors who make others lives hell and you have no power but to move. Problem is most can’t for multiple reasons
I’m truly surprised I don’t read about crimes between apartment tenants more often cuz there are soooo many frustrated /enraged 1st floor tenants. And so many kids on 2nd 3rd floors. Often wonder if property management companies do this deliberately to have broken leases the responsible quiet lower neighbor will pay for to get out of agoniz in g situation. Property mgmt can get 2 rents fir several months-one from quiet person who leaves but pays fir extra months and new tenants…..
Dealing with same problem since 2 years, waiting for move out this February 😇 i cant give attention to my study while they make noise. Only those people can feel it who face it. 1 tip is try to hit the roof softly, it will make them scared.

WOW. Literally dealing with this issue now. 3 kids all under the age of 5, and none of them are enrolled in school. Parents stay home all day. I had to work from home these past 2 week. Its constant running back and forth, banging on the floor, screaming, then the mom screaming, then the husband and her fighting. I wish I could tell you I had a positive outcome when knocking on the door of my upstairs neighbors. Chances are it won't be great if they know they live above someone's home and they still do what they do. They don't care. Record it. I'm in the process of taking my upstairs neighbors to court. They have completely taken over our lives with thsir noise...its miserable 😢😔

@@mickyt6651 so far nothing. I despise drama and conflict. But I will have to do something as this is driving me insain. Also I had some issues with the partying downstairs. But at least they are pretty quiet when they dont party so its not a constant thing like the neighbors wall to wall who makes noise all of the hours they are awake. Doesnt seem like any of them work or the kids go to daycare etc. so they are home 24/7 and the small kids arent quiet before 11 pm or sometimes later. A friend of mine suggested I wrote a note and put it in their mail box and not be specific about who it is. It might be a good idea because Im afraid I’ll be a bit rude about it if I confront them face to face. But Im sure confronting face to face is the best way. Im just not bold enough.
@@Miamia_01 Have you tried reaching out to your landlord/property mgmt? I would suggest you try that first and see how they can help you about it. I did and they were helpful like they sent out notices to the 2 floors above me and told me to contact security when I hear the sounds so they can investigate. The thing is for me, it's tricky to identify the actual culprit unit because of how sounds travel thru our building, and they also advised against going directly to the resident you think/know is causing the noise.
Im sorry you struggle with this. I know how it feels and how exhausting it is. Only thing helpful is headphones playing youtube videoes or music. But if you are tired and your head needs rest, it really isn’t helpful to drown out noise with noise. Gosh that squeaky bed would have driven me mental. The police are useless. If you have a HOA, you can just keep sending letters and calling to hopefully have them fined. Mine told me children are protected, but I used the term “quiet enjoyment” and with these recordings they’ve sent out fines. It’s still happening- just less frequently…
I am not sure if this would work for you, but when I had loud upstairs neighbors I used a loudish fan as a white noise machine in the bedroom. It helped quite a bit - no one deserves this
Didn't work for me. I had fan and white noise machine, could still hear the thumps. It's getting close to 30 years, and I still have some issues hearing thumps and bumps. I was at a restaurant not too long ago, with a 2nd floor. There was some sort of party up there and such loud thumps and bumps, and a couple times was so bad a light kept going on and off. Yes, it started bothering me, and made comments to the waitress, but there was nothing they could do, so me and the people I was with just made jokes about it. Only way to be away from neighbors who make such noise, is to live out in the country far from all neighbors. But even there you might get coyotes howling and yip yapping outside your window lol.
My parents treated me like this, if your going to run around go outside and play. I never see kids playing outside anymore. My downstairs kids shake my up stairs 3rd floor. I put my ear to the floor, they sound so dumb, I think sometimes relating to kids can make you dumber. If my parents where mad at me for running they would get pissed and explain that they work alot and they don't like the noise, if I wanted to make noise go outside. So I would go outside. I ended up joining a gang at the age of 13, I also got kid napped and held for ransom, when I was in the gang they forced me to steal money from liquor stores, I loved going outside.
My neighbors kids always be loud today their visitors took my parking space I’m usually laid back and chill but not today . Not to mention all the fucking traffic they all have smoking in front of their kids smh
What do I do if my neighbors complain about my toddler walking. Toddlers don’t know how to walk quietly. Do I tie him up or carry him everywhere. I’m confused
Toddlers don’t weigh as much as 9 and 11 year olds. They also aren’t aware as people yet at that age. Pre-teens are and it’s parental guidance that teaches them to abide by common courtesy and the rules of the living spaces.
A full band with drums, guitar, bass, microphone, and amps didn't suit me either. I wish I was an a**hole so I could pass this crap onto other people, but I can't bring myself to do it. Think I will try cops.

@Angeal zeal so happy for u. I’m surprised cops intervened when nuisance was kids. I think in Florida kids rule and are protected. They’re allowed to be kids. Ugh.
Just make sure to never take your kids our for walks or exercise. Stay indoors and smoke pot all day to dissociate from being an unwilling parent. SOLVED!
I live below a single mom of 3 year old. No play area as it’s a 16 unit condo. On busy intersection so there’s no place to walk/exercise the kid. And we’re 10 minutes from beach but I guess the mom can’t be bothered to pull herself away from tv or phone. And discipline is out of the question. She hates her life/situation and wants to make everyone else miserable. I believe that’s the situation with most of those who rent 2nd floor apartments….

what I usually take from this if you can’t handle living in apt complex with all types of neighbors from kids, noisy music etc. is don’t rent apartments. Go for a house and or condo best option I can give. I feel apartments should let people know this is what your signing up for when renting apartments.
I live in a condo and am experiencing this. There is a child upstairs who constantly runs and stomps. I have reached out to the HOA and no luck. I want so badly to call the police just to put fire under their butts. Parents have some type of control and it's discipline.
Dude, first of all running around indoors is dangerous. Sh*t can go flying, or you can fall into things. Outdoors at least you can run around in grass. You know how I know? Because my dumb*ss got stitches in my head from running around a house and falling into piano. I also gashed my head into a TV once. Save the running for outdoors.
What exactly do you suggest your neighbors to do? Tape the hands, leg and mouth of their kids so they don't move or talk? You probably don't have kids and have no idea how tough it is for those parents. You want the kids to be quiet 7 days a week from morning to night. It's practically impossible. Also, what stops you from moving to another unit? When you have 3 kids of your own all under 10 years old, your stance/position will change 100%.
Could always try discipline and tell them to stop running around and being little assholes since its a apartment and other people live there. Want to be able to go crazy all day, get a house.

I feel so bad for them below us because we understand the noise is a pain but we can’t just have our kids sit still all day 7 days a week it’s not possible, even after extensive puzzles, toys, going out to the park to burn energy, kids will still be themselves and it sucks, best advice is if you don’t have kids move to a upper unit or rent a house.

Why I want to stay…
Its just sad what people have to deal with in these apartments when your paying ALOT of money but yet you cant even get a goodnight sleep for work the next day
Ah, makes me feel right at home...

I live below a family of four who are renting and they have no insulation under their wooden flooring which means I hear every footstep.
I’m dealing with the same thing right now 😭🤯
Like it’s driving me so crazy I want to build a damn shack in the woods! If I could get WiFi I really would. I have health issues so I’m stuck home 24/7. I’m truly surprised I don’t read about crimes between apartment tenants more often cuz there are soooo many frustrated /enraged 1st floor tenants. And so many kids on 2nd 3rd floors.
@@DreadLordSkeez I am sure you don't have kids. When you have 2 or more kids in the future, come back to this comment. Talk is cheap.
@@bravehats i feel bad for your kids if you think having them not run around is a unmanageable task. Gonna grow up to be little assholes like the rest of this new generation. Good luck!
@@DreadLordSkeez I agree but there’s only so much that can be done, speaking from experience, having a hyperactive kid is not easy, we own up to the responsibility of the noise making and we apologize to our neighbors below and try our best to discipline but kids are kids at the end of the day, trust me it’s a no win for both the neighbors under and the family with the kids as well.
@@DreadLordSkeez You have no idea do you? No need to respond. Once you have 2 or more kids in the future, come back to this comment. Talk is cheap.
I am sensitive on even more quiet sounds, when the retarder man over me walks with no shoes... such vibrating sounds... I get very angry on that. Did you talk with your neighbours? What panel house is that? Do you have a photo?
It’s a condo. No one else cares if it’s not them having noise.
