Foel fras via drum & Aber falls/ Snowdonia/ wales/ hiking/ 17:3:23

  • Finally I managed to get out and do this walk after the snow the other week stopped me from getting over.
    I started by going round to the bottom of drosgl first and then heading up from there. Good job I brought my wets gear as the heavens opened and decided to soak me!
    The walk was finished off with the beautiful Aber falls.

    Good video, I'm lucky enough to live nearby and up there is great for wild camping being so quiet, I don't know the story behind why but the trig point on Foel Fras isn't on the summit, the true summit is a 2m high rock spike 70m SW of the trig point, most names around there are tricky to pronounce though e.g. Drum is pronounced Drim.
