Hi I’m watching you’re videos for first time and I love it wish I had snow where I live because I’m huge fan of skiing and mby going to try snowboard because of you this year bye have a nice day😊
Hey Mikelis. Thank you for the feedback awesome to hear you are loving these videos. Hope you get out there on the snowboard someday and give it a go! If you haven't already check out my snowboard tutorials as they may be of some service. Thanks again. 🏂
Lived here for 5 years back in the early 90s.. Used to live on Snowshoe Circle, then moved over to Wildflower condos on other side of town... Some of the best skiing and best times of my life!!!... Was always on that T bar
@@stevantures Oh Man we had some wild times.. We ended up renting a house right off C chair and in the summer we cut a path with hatches and weedwackers and other instruments of destruction lol... Right up through the back yard.. Then when the snow came we built a ramp up to our deck off the back of house and took off a section of railing so the last run of tbe day would be tbrough the woods onto the deck.. Kick off skiis and gear and jump in tbe hot tub... At any given time there were anywhere from 8 to 15 people living in that house... Ya have to do it while youre young right!!!
Haha no, no Stretch. That one clip decending with no helmet was just a flash back clip from the previous season. Other than that clip I wore the helmet the whole time here. 🏂
Nice video🔥 I saw you were riding a ns proto type 2 in the other videos. Could you recommend the proto type 2 to a rider who's mainly riding allmountain and loves doing butters? I used to own a Burton Kilroy Process, which I loved, but I want to try something a bit stiffer and different for this season.
I would definitely recommend the NS Proto Type Two to you or someone looking for an all mountain and freestyle snowboard. It's the perfect balance of the two if you ask me and yoy can hold a pretty decent carve as well. Plus it has a medium flex for pulling off those butters you love doing. I would definitely recommend demoing one out a few times and see how it feels to you before you pull the purchase trigger.
I HAVE A QUESTION!!! So I am left hand dominant, right foot dominant for gymnastics and skate boarding, but I’ve noticed it’s easier to have my right foot in front while one foot is strapped in and left foot forward when I am 2 feet strapped in. Any idea how to know which one is dominant?
Hello Que Snope and thank you for your question. I have seen your exact situation several times over my years of teaching snowboarding. At the end of the day you have to do what feels right for you. And if the means skating around with just your right foot in and riding down with your left foot forward while both feet are strapped, then I would say stick to that. As long as you're able to progress and feel like your snowboarding is getting better. If you're still curious check out my Learning How To Snowboard Part 1 video. I go over ways on how to figure out which foot is dominant. But again, at the end of the day you have to do what feels right for you. Good luck out there and have fun! 🏂
Hey man is this on the date of December 8 or last year?I checked the website and it says all the upper mountain is closed! I'm asking because I'm going out there next week and want to hit lines like this! Thanks!
This was early March 2020 last year. Sorry to say there are no bowls open at Breck right now so finding lines like these will be impossible. We need much more snow. But there is still plenty of terrain to ride. Have a trip out here! 🏂
Sweet Vid bro! Can't wait to hit the pow this March! I would love to have good videos like this when I go, I'm looking to buy the HERO 9 Black with the extension pole. Do you use a gopro? And what settings do you record on to get smooth, stable recordings? Thanks man!
Thanks Miguel! I hope we get some pow by then. Dry season so far and they haven't even opened Peak 6 yet. As far as a camera I use a GoPro 8 Black amd normally shoot in 4k at 60fps. But check out that GoPro Max if you dont want your pole to show up in the video. I just posted a video today about it. Check it out.
@@stevantures Nice, it looks great. Love the 1+ foot of snow we are getting this week, looks like there will be plenty of bowls ready to hit for my arrival in 2 weeks! I'm getting my set up put together now. In this video are you using the 38' "El Grande" GoPro extension pole?
Nice vid! This looks awesome but i’m just not sure if i should do it or not. I have been skiing for 7 years and i have done multiple double black but never in colorado. I have only really done them i park city, should I be able to handle this?
I'm going to Breck in just over 3 weeks... Cant wait! Really great production and amazing video quality! Was all of this filmed on your GoPro Max or with a combination of cameras?
Thanks Chasing Vertical. Hopefully Breck will have some fresh powder upon your arrival. This was all filmed using my GoPro 8. Didn't have the Max last season.
@@Ben-ok2ue coverage is ok but could be better. We have Peak 10, 9, 8, and 7 open so that's good. Higher alpine not so good. We need some big snow storms.
@@stevantures that’s what i figured. I’ve been to A Basin, keystone and WP. Winter park def seems to have better coverage than summit county, still nothing above tree line though. Hopefully these light consistent storms continue throughout January, should get us a good base by feb at the least 🤞🏼

Tutorials are great. Really give you a good step by step knowledge of the fundamentals for learning.
Keep up the great vids! My buddy and I are flying out there next week to go to Vail, Beavercreek, and Breckenridge for the first time. I'm pumped!
Thanks Jared! Hope we get lots of powder for you and your buddys trip out here!

@@-kingyonglu-7647 you too!!
Any bowls open as of late? Will be at Breck on Monday and worried a lot of the bowls will not be open...
Zero bowls open and not much snow in the forecast. Bummer man. Still plenty open to ride though.
What do you film with and if it is a GoPro could you let me know what the settings are, thank you.
BOOM, get after it.
And boom goes the dynamite. Thanks Gilly!

Peak 6 baby !
Great Peak!

when did you record this?
