Awesome to be up top with the beautiful sunset, but scary going down in the dark with cougar noises. I just recently did a three hour hike in the dark, thankfully, I only saw deer. I have subbed.
Great video I can actually see how steep the trail is great night vision on the camera what is it , I also like the demo of the light trekking poles with the head light , they put you in front for bait 😂
I was using a 18mm lens on the way up which isn't normal. Usually I filmed with a 24-105mm so all the wide shots are 24mm. I quite like how the 18mm looks and really shows how that trail feels to hike. On the descent I used a 35mm low light lens.
I honestly don't know aside from I'm going to the Canadian rockies in about 10 days. I haven't seen my family in a while. I need to decide what I want to do with my life. I work my butt off with these vids but no one watches them. I may switch to vanlife with much shorters 2-4 minute segments with hikes sandwiched with other vanlife stuff. What I decide will dictate what I do in alberta but I'll hike a bunch of stuff but Im going to do much better harder missions most people on earth wouldn't attempt, for the self respect and as content is much more interesting. Basically lots of glaciers.
@IdRatherBeHiking I know. I'm not unfamiliar with making videos, so I appreciate the work that goes into your edits. It's beyond me why you are not getting more exposure on YT. Sometimes it just happens like that. But let me tell you, they are appreciated, even if not on a mass scale. Kings peak would be a good one to consider this year, although there's probably still too much snow up there just now. Very safe trail all the way to the summit, with spectacular scenery and views throughout.
@@RecoatesI discovered this site by accident you tube didn't send it to me,he made a comment on my out door life and I went to check it out I love what I see the places he goes to my out door life only has stuff to sell his hiking must be on a other site but that is what you tube sent to me l only look up music hiking and nature
