Early Floyd is great! As a matter of fact, there was a nice melodic JAM from the COMMITTEE LP that REMINDED ME of a long lost Floyd song I heard on the radio 31 years ago. It was about 5-6 minutes long and had a baroque-like keyboard melody and a trippy guitar solo with few lyrics. Does anyone know what this song's title might be?
Was that a live song? From which period, would you say? What comes to my mind is the live version of of Fat Old Sun with an added ending (that sounded like a cover of some well-known song, but what that was, I don't recall). Summer '68? Paintbox maybe?
A commenter found the song. It came from a band that sounded like Floyd called,Soft Machine and the song was entitled;" jet propelled photos" it came out around '68 and sounded similar to the COMMITTEE soundtrack
That echoplex thing David is doing in the "Travel Sequence" is something he could have nicked from John Martyn... (just my assumption, they knew each other quite well, and yet Martyn did that earlier as his trademark thing)
Great audio. If only the entire concert, or at least the entire DSOTM, was captured.
Merci il y a un moment sympathique ❤
Thank you❤
That's my favorite Pink Floyd phase
Very interesting - not least the early sketch for "Great Gig" beginning at around 5:00 ! What's the name of the first track?
"Travel Sequence" - it got replaced by "On The Run"

Peter Clifton' Original Brighton Show is the Holy Floyd Grail, who has a complet(er) version?
David: Hey Roger, what name are you giving that bluesy part after “Us and Them”?
Roger: Why David, you can call it any colour you like.
Was this ever put to a decent audio recording?
@@garethsnaim8174 well... these are the only songs the band published from this concert. So no, this is everything you can hey
