they need to start comparing units (tickets) vs gross because of inflation. You need to create an apples to apples comparison. Comparing Oppenheimer to Dark Knight without it is utter bullshit and anyone in corporate finance who does that without that caveat would be fired ASAP.

Re: Gran Turismo I think you've also gotta ask who it's for. It seems to be for an age group who don't care about the game. There's also the overall thing of game fans don't automatically want to see a film version. Why would you? I don't want a game version of all my favourite films. And yeah, the star's performance looks awful. I was shocked when you mentioned Blomkamp... wow?
