Wow!!! Mind blown!!! Since we are in pinot Country, we dont think of anywhere else but burgundy, so glad to learn about this beautiful region and the particular styles they make!!!! I mist find some trusseau!!!!

This was yet another very helpful cast. Just one comment: in many other regions the epicurian traditions are mentioned, such as Bergerac w/ foie gras etc. Arbois has a booming gastronomic scene and the little pictoresque town is more than worth a visit!

Thanks for the cast. Where do I find some of these to taste?

That's a pretty legitimate question because the big box places usually don't carry them. Best bet is a fine wine shop in your area (which will be easier if you're on one of the coasts and in or near a big city). The ones around here usually have some Macvin and Vin de Paille (but not so much still wines, interestingly). If they don't have a couple bottles in stock, most places will be able to order something for you. Let me know what you find. Cheers!

Just realized that I took it completely for granted that you're in the U.S. or Canada, but the same basic advice still applies. Cheers!

Really enjoying your wine casts. I like the precise and organised way in which you approach your subject. Have you made any recently?

"Savagnin Blanc is also known as Traminer; while the aromatic, pink-berried version Savagnin Rose Aromatique is Gewurztraminer. " From Jancis Robinson. These are the same grapes not different ones as you state in this video

The slide says "Sauv Blanc", I don't think he got it wrong, he's talking about the different Sauv Blanc grapes
