So nice to see a true champion's skill, talent and technique triumph over twiddling pimple trickery. These players are couldn't be further apart.
It's players like Prean that nearly killed the game in the 80's and 90's.

Would you care to elaborate and back up your comment, or are you only capable of attempting childish insults.

It IS a very stupid comment David. Do you actually understand Table Tennis? Do you actually understand just how much skill and training it takes to play with pimples at this level? . . . I thought not. Having been involved in Table Tennis since the mid 1980's I think I am in a more than reasonable position to comment. When you say 'Killed the Game" what exactly are you implying? You couldn't be more deluded! There are some absolutely amazing players in the modern day game using long pimples and they offer up some amazing spectacles for the viewer. If you are in any doubt look up Gionis Panagiotis.

Thanks Nick for your fascinating views on pimples . Having just seen one of your local league videos of 'how to play table tennis badly', I don't feel YOU have the capacity to understand the training and skill at that level. The one when you get the score wrong against Abdul is 'comedy gold'.
What pimples and anti loop did was make the ball react differently creating confusion to the opponent. An example of this would be John Hilton winning the European Championships in 1980. Whilst John was a great player I think even he would concede that he wasn't even the best English player at that time let alone the best in Europe. However his twiddling of his bat helped him to a European title.
Keep posting the videos Nick, haven't laughed so much in ages 😂🤣😂

One could argue nowadays, that these excessively fast rubbers and extreme short rally's also spoils the game.. it's great though to watch an attacker build up against a chopper.
