We’ll have to check the calendar to see when we can run it back with new/more teams. I’m excited to think new games to play and new ways to utilize this format.

Codenames is great! If you get enough teams to make it more of a full tournament, my suggestion would be to make the championship best 2 out of 3 with each player taking a turn as spymaster.

Does anyone else get the impression that Zo is playing some sort of long con where he's posing as a goof but is, in fact, a diabolical genius biding his time before springing his masterful plot for world domination on a complacent and unsuspecting public? I'm onto you, Zo!
Holy crap that board was amazing for JM Baseball. Horn+Car+Engine could be an automobile 3 clue. Whale+Fish+Bridge+Stream are all water related. And he's tossing out 2 and 1 clues all over. I love how everyone thinks they are just playing amazing while Jimmy and Jake just rail on how bad they're doing.
It was either a brilliant "slow n steady" strategy, or a brilliantly accidental slow-mo strategy for falling ass backwards into a W. Hahaha, Jimmy's utter disgust was the icing on the cake. 😁🤣😆
Yup. That was an easy 3-4 hint round for JM team. I would have gone water(whale+fish+bridge+stream and sacrifice seal) automobile(horn+car+engine) then night(day+star). Very weak showing from Trev.

Nick shouldn't feel bad. It's rarified air up here at championship level. The pressure told, but a young squad like this will feed off the experience. Lot of training coming up I'm sure all those two-a-days : dictionary in the AM, thesaurus in the PM. We rise.

The new camera angles and setup are great with Jomboy and Jake doing commentary and having an over-the-top view to show the board. I'd love to see more Codenames and if you're looking for other games to try; Secret Hitler or Avalon would be fun with this group and if you're really wanting to dive into the board game world then Betrayal at the House on the Hill is one of my favorites. Keep up what y'all are doing, it's gold!
Trev’s safe playing almost cost them this one. Twice he passed up chances to get an extra point. “Automobile for 3” and “River for 2” would have been easy gets.

The single hints drove me nuts so here’s what I would’ve said as spymaster just because: 1) booth commentators were absolutely right on automobile, would’ve gone for three for car, engine, horn 2) sky for day and star 3) water for fish, whale, bridge and stream. Hopefully seal would be off the board by this round and you wouldn’t have to worry about it
OMG, I wanted to shake that guy in the black hoodie. ROUND for 3!!! Round table because of King Arthur's round table. Ring because of a boxing ring, so they have rounds and rings are round. And seal as in a wax seal, which is also round.
I love Jomboy and Codenames, so this series was great. Trev deserved to lose this with softest performance of all time! When we play my team always has a strict no 'for 1' rule, you gotta go for it
There's nothing wrong with a slow roll to victory in codenames if you're opponent is floundering. Taking words off the board helps your opponent too and can get them back in the game. Can't hate on the prevent defense.

New way for trev to play soft is what I learned here
A (fighting) ring, a block and a table can all have corners. Nicky probably was cheating by naming the location, but it could have been legit.
When I play people go for three minimum at the beginning
