- How High Can You Jump in Minecraft? It's a question that not many people ask because, on the surface, it seems very trivial. But have you actually taken the time to consider, how high can you really jump in Minecraft? 1 Block? 1.25 blocks? 1.5 blocks? In this video, we will be exploring that question, and use weird and unorthodox techniques to gain a ton of vertical elevation :) Enjoy!

It's genuinely amazing how this person managed to squeeze 12 minutes out of this kinda video topic
when you use fireworks + elytra/riptide + elytra it's actually better to angle your screen slightly upwards instead of all the way up;
using riptide III + elytra, i got:
~ 38 blocks aiming straight up,
~ 88 blocks aiming 60 degrees up,
~ 133 blocks aiming 45 degrees up,
~ 145 blocks aiming 30 degrees up,
~ 139 blocks aiming 25 degrees up
After testing just a couple times, i got 103 blccks high with flight duration 3 rockets and elytra aiming at 30 degrees, already much higher than Wifies's 78 while aiming straight up
Notes and tips: During this test, I was standing in one block deep water and pressed space to glide with elytra as soon as I could (after I riptided), I know this doesn't count as a "jump" since i didn't start with pressing space (instead, i started with the riptide trident), this is just to show you can go higher if you angle your screen when using elytra instead of going straight up; you can check how far up you aim in the f3 menu

I think it like almost 1.25 block
As someone who has done great deals of experimentation and research on the chorus fruit, It favors sending you to a lower position not a higher one, in the change logs it is noted that it's intended use is getting down if a shulker has gotten you stuck in a high place, and my testing has shown it does indeed favor the lower location, not that it 'can't' send you higher, but it is certainly a consistent method of getting down if you just have 4 on you to be safe

Alternate Title: Physics with Wifies
If you are flying and you eat a chorus fruit, it will teleport you to the lowest value that land is on . For example , using the elytra at Y 500 and you eat a chorus fruit, Your Y value would go from 500 to 64 or so

You can jump 1.5 blocks with just an end portal frame. Place an end portal frame 3 blocks away from a block with a slab on top and blocks between them. I dont know how to explain that better but it works

According to the definition in the vid, I disagree that using riptide should be considered a jump. Because it requires rain, which is quite a bit of set up.

Well yes you can jump more than one, fun fact if you lag or you're hits are delayed and as you jump and the hit's register you can jump 3 blocks, a TH-camr called telly did it in one of his montages.

5:16 this can be replicated using shuckers riding armorstands.
You can go higher, jump with jump boost 2, after that you enable your elytra, afyer that you look forward (not up) and shoot your riptide trident, after that you slowly look up. (Looking slowly up gets you higher than straight up)
if each block is a meter that means the most powerful horse (without jumpboost) can jump around 15 feet

You can "yoshi dismount" off a horse by holding jump as you dismount. I'm not sure if it works on Java, but it definitely does on Bedrock.

A notable thing about the riptide trident is that in pocket edition if you time it right, you can spam the riptide and reach build limit in less than 3 seconds.
Here is a jump idea
Glide using the trident at a 45° angle you can reach higher than the highest jump in your video
