Ее били и истязали. Соседи заявили властям об этом. Девочку забрали в больницу, мать лишили прав на ребенка. До 4,5 лет девочка росла в государственном детском доме. Случилось чудо. Девочка много плакала. И ее забрала к себе в семью массажистка детского санатория, в котором Диана проходила реабилитацию. У Дианы были речевые нарушения и ей рекомендовали петь, чтоб убрать блоки с речи. Теперь мы имеем в активе самое неподражаемое контральто с прекрасной техникой владения голосом. Всем добра!

Her voice is like earth, air, fire and water all at once. She makes me think of ancient history and people yet it is channeled through such a contemporary artist. Hers is a voice that has the capacity to heal in our difficult times.
Does NOT sound like a male voice at any time. She has unique dramatic contralto voice and super accurate , super powerful. Unique.
She has a masculine/androgynous quality to her tone that is a common marker for dramatic contraltos. That is to say that if someone heard the first part of this song without seeing the video or knowing any context, they might not be able to tell if it's a man or woman singing. The fact she's singing those low notes so easily also can fool the ear. Higher voices struggle a bit more down there.
This woman is like a one in a billion that has this sort of control and quality to get voice. She has access to typically male ranges to her voice. Like Dimaash who can access typically female ranges she is a freak of nature in the most beautiful fashion.

Excellent reaction, you learn a lot by listening to you my friend. I think that with respect to the criticism that she does not sing the entire melody but only the chorus, I find her strength there in this version of the E. I "discovered" Diana Ankudinova only a couple of weeks ago. I've listened to this song repeatedly! I love it. I've also watched the reaction videos. With your explanation of polyphonic singing, I finally understand how she is able to make this beautiful voice even more beautiful. Thank you.

She has worked on her range since and her top notes are well up. It is her passions that shine. Her "Rechenka" at 14 is a force of nature. "Wicked Game" at 15 is an explosion of passion. At 20, her "The day you" is just a thing of beauty. Not flashy but a mature work, her best yet.
A true vocal teacher, he already detects the minor key during the intro. Then comes the impressions of Diana's shocking voice! So far, about a dozen people have done this!

Диана очень неординарная, в начале этой песни даже некоторых шокирует, дальше - восторг.
Обратите внимание, что большинство коучей (преподавателей) вокала в своих роликах сначала шокируют началом, потом возвращают и воспроизводят эту песню с начала. Это исполнение переворачивает мозг с непривычки, поэтому надо успокоиться, вернуться и проникнуться.
Так делают творческие люди, блогеры из любой страны, те, кто понимает сложность исполнения и хочет донести этот феномен до своей аудитории.
Недавно мне попался ролик финки, коуча вокала. Она на финском языке говорила, комментируя исполнение Дианой этой песни. А я как в фильме "Особенности национальной охоты" почти всё понимал, хотя в финском языке - ни бельмеса.

Thank you for your reaction. Yes, this is a competition among professional singers who have won other competitions. This is Diana's first adult competition, before that she won a lot of children's competitions and the last of them were "You are super" for children deprived of parental care. Diana has been living in a foster family for the last 15 years.
To the wide musical community in Russia, and later in the world, she became known primarily thanks to TH-cam and where many of her performances have millions and even tens of millions of views.
If you want to dig deeper, then I advise you first of all to watch her performances from the contest "You are super". The best in my opinion of her performances are "Rechenka", "Wicked Game", "Human". Although all her performances deserve attention.
By the way, Diana won these competitions consisting of 9 rounds on the TV show. Moreover, the participants of the competition were judged mainly by themselves.

Широкой музыкальной общественности в России, а в последствии и в мире, она стала известна в первую очередь благодаря ютубу и где многие её выступления насчитывают миллионы и даже десятки миллионов просмотров.
Если вы хотите копнуть глубже, то советую вам в первую очередь посмотреть именно её выступления с конкурса "Ты супер". Лучшие на мой взгляд её выступления это "Реченька", "Wiked Game", "Human". Хотя все её выступления заслуживают внимание.
Кстати эти соревнования состоящие из 9 туров на ТВ-шоу Диана выиграла. Причем судили преимущественно сами участники соревнований.

Wow! She puts layers of emotions in, just by her expanded voice. The first part sends chills down your spine. What a gripping, exciting takent! So many colors in just one word sung- beautifully amazing. Just saying " Spectacular and moving!" does not seem to do her performance justice.

I've noticed that the serious pro musicians are way more impressed by her than the non-musician reactors.
Part of the reason why she sounds “different” from a soprano is because she is a contralto who naturally has such a particular timbre that carries across her range.
You hear it best when she projects her chest voice like at the end, the darkness and warmth of it is not unlike what you would hear from a male baritone. Obviously she can’t sing as low as a baritone (maybe she could when she’s older) but her physiology makes her sound like one. And this is of course remarkable for an 18 year old girl, whose voice now at 20 is still years from being fully developed.
Even as young as 12 she possessed this vocal quality (if you listen to Там нет меня) that only became more enhanced after she hit puberty at 15 (if you listen to Wicked Game)

Of all of the other evaluations of Diana’s rendition of this song, I’ve enjoyed yours the most! What an interesting take! I need to subscribe more. Your curiosity of the mechanics of her voice has peaked my own interest.

Comparing Dimash and Diana. Hmmm. What to say? Both are great, no doubt about it.
This is my subjective opinion, which opinions actually tend to be. Subjective.
I like Dimash, he is an incredible singer, but too technical at the times. Diana tends to be quite down-to-the-earth. More performance orientated, she shows more the emotional side, Dimash is more technical, he ''needs'' to show his abilities and range, Diana is more about interpretation and delivery.
Don't get me wrong, they are both great, but they are different, they have different approach to music It's more like apples to oranges comparison.
I'd like to see them both live.

Totally agree! I remember one of his most famous performances (SOS d’un terrien en détresse) and while I was completely blown away by his voice and technical abilities, it was a bit dampened by his smirk as he hit the last note (I understand that he’s probably just enjoying the moment and performing, but it did take away from the very tragic and heartbreaking message and context surrounding the song, whereas Diana manages to convey the very deep and mature emotions at an incredibly young age on top of her obvious technical abilities!)
The only thing I disagree is the male voice, she never sings with a male voice, she has a very low female voice.

Я не могу утверждать, но мне кажется, что где-то прошла информация, что формат этого шоу допускал исполнение участниками конкурса в 2 или чуть больше минут. Именно поэтому версия этой песни была укорочена.
Вролне возможно. Но факт в том, что и из этой ситуации Диана, или аранжировщик, или все вместе, выжали максимум. ☝️ Они же могли несколько куплетов втиснуть в эти минуты, но пошли на урезание текста до смыслового минимума. И вместо просто кавера в миноре получился шедевр!!! 👍👍👍🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🥰🥰🥰🥰

Вы абсолютно правы.Телевизионные законы очень строгие и ,как правило,преследуя свои цели в подобных конкурсах,нередко наносят некий ,,урон" исполняемому произведению.
Надеюсь,что когда-нибудь,подобно библейскому сюжету ,коммерцию изгонят из ,,храма искусства".
