1 enforcers looks like a crazy ass game that's so janky European videos games now have red dead redemption 2 polish by comparison. 2 remember my big list of obscure rpgs from a previous video. Here's 3 more. Paper free rpg is a really simple 1 page rpg I've got mixed feelings on and ultimately moved away from solipsist is a game that exists that feels like if mage the ascension went with dragon ball z power scaling. 10 millon hp planet is a single boss fight as an rpg i remember watching a video on in the past. I bought it because the concept was cool and I'm planning on reading it soon.
I think this is a "Superhero Heartbreaker" based on Villains and Vigilantes. The powers feel similar with more customization crunch, the initiative system is basically the same with extra stuff tacked on, etc.
I didn't really meander about the "Opening Spiel" really. But in the book they are actually saying "Hey, these OTHER games are doing this, fuck that, we're doing it BETTER!" Better or not? Well, there isn't a Enforcers 3e exactly.
Excellent video, per usual. I was surprised to realize that this game truly has almost no coverage on TH-cam, though the game's quirks and oddness makes it easily understood. LOL Odd game, for sure.
I'm pretty sure this (and a lot of other crunch-heavy games from the same time period) mostly uses multiple tiers of derived attributes to justify using stats that are in no way related to D&D. They just couldn't think of generating stats any other way. So it's like you're basically rolling up a D&D character who is then converted to the actual game.
There's a twitch in my reptile brain telling me to construct excel sheet automation for this.

This was one of those gamers I wanted to buy when I would see the add for it, but never showed up at my FLGS... not sure I missed out on that one ;)
Scott, dont look at the charts scott. Scott? SCOTT!
1:43 now, this is just *fatal*
Exactly my thoughts!
Everybody Enforcer until the Quadratics shows
This is one of those games you want to see someone to play... And probably never want to play it yourself.
nothing to say, other than good video as always

Math, but it's a game. A board game where you have to write everything down with a pencil on paper

Math is cool
This game is giving FATAL a run for its money
It's not THAT bad when you get to it. Just very front loaded.
Positive comment
Yah I'd rather DM HERO System *blind* then this, thanks
In my opinion a ttrpg should never have math coplicated enough to require a calculator. This game clearly disagrees
Cole could probably write a character sheet to make it easier to run
WHY?!
