- Hey FOA. Today I am sprucing up my tiny home with new curtains and bedding. It's been a long time since I made my curry chicken. This time I am pulling out all the stops. I hope this is a WOWZER.

Having those Blood pressure cuff are a life saver Anthony, glad to hear and see you bought 1, use it faithfully. I’m on high blood pressure meds, so..now I try to forever watch my salt intake. Be careful with seasoning as they have salt in them too. Keep your health always in mind. Yes..blood work is important.

Tracking your bp really is the best way to see if it is high or not. My bp is high so I need medication - I do bp pressure checks a few times a week to make sure it is in the range.

Anthony - If you use the chimney along with a couple of the lit fire starter cubes (place the chimney on top of the lit cubes) you will never use the fire liquid stuff again. It’s very very simple

Happy Monday Anthony. I always wash my chicken, some say do and some say don't. I'm just careful about splashing water and I make sure to clean and disinfect the sink and any other surfaces that the raw chicken touches because chicken can have harmful bacteria that can cause sickness.

@@karmakartel9246 I can only speak for myself, but I wash my sink and wipe down the handles and counter with disinfectant after I cook and before I sit down to eat. So my sink is "clean" when I wash my dirty dishes after my meal. I get the feeling people don't clean their sinks and kitchen work area at all so they automatically think "the sink is dirty" or the countertop is dirty.

Get a small vegetable chopper. I finally discovered one so now I make lumpia more often 😂😂😂 The curtains look great! 😊

Anthony, if you can stand one more suggestion on grilling chicken -- parboil your chicken for 5-7 min., and finish it on the grill. That way, your chicken remains juicy, but is thoroughly cooked without having to burn it at the stake! Google how to do it -- it is A THING! That's what I used to do, back in the day!🐔🔥🎆

Hi Anthony ! New subscriber here 😊. Let me make a suggestion for you. I too had high blood pressure I take a shot of ace mixed with honey and lemon juice. I also use McCormick salt free seasonings as well.Their seasonings are very favorable along with Tabitha browns seasoning. She also have packets of seasoning that I also use for meats. Now I’m not going to lie I still have a few of my regular seasonings that I still use sparingly . I hope this helps 😊

Hi Anthony, you have definitely out grew your space! Nice decor! Great attitude on doctor’s report. I had to stop eating out so much and adjust my diet. My Mom is on a higher dosage of high blood pressure meds because of her high sodium intake.
Hi Alyce. I still have a way to go. I have focus a little more on how I prepare my food. I have using the digital reader three times a day as the doctor suggested. But, man, those numbers sometime can be crazy lol.

Bedding- You should keep the old fitted sheet and wash & donate the rest of the bedding. Curtains look awesome❤
You also need to pile up your charcoal to one side so you put the meat on the side with no charcoal thats your indirect side it still cooks but does not burn your meat ❤

Hey Anthony, I have the same color curtains in my bedroom. Have you been peeping thru my windows 😂? I have the sage throw pillows for a pop of color. I’m glad you are keeping track of your blood pressure. That machine from CVS works very well. You know we are a certain age so we have to watch all of that including your cholesterol. You have been drinking a lot of water as well. That helps things flush out of your system.

The sodium listed on packaged food is per serving.
So if that curry your using has 4 servings, then the whole package has a whopping 2800 mg of sodium.
Anytime you wondering if something is considered “high or low” sodium”, you go by the percentage per serving.
Anything OVER 20% (per serving) is considered HIGH.
That curry your eating is thru the roof since you said it reads “700-750” mg…that’s per serving & thats waaay too high.
What percentage is high in sodium?
20%
Use %DV to determine if a serving of the food is high or low in sodium and to compare and choose foods to get less than 100% DV of sodium each day. As a general guide: 5% DV or less of sodium per serving is considered low, and 20% DV or more of sodium per serving is considered high.
Pay attention to servings.
Use the other potato ends for Morning with your eggs small cut cubes in your garlic butter or oil. My grandson loves charizo eggs and potatoes small cubes potatoes
Your meds are working.
But lowering the salt & eating more potassium rich foods like avocados & avocado oil will lower BP.

Hi anthony, marinate your chicken atleast an hour before you cook it. Just try marinating all of your meats, preferably over night. Also think about adding some thyme and pimento seeds for dynamic flavors! I don't like the texture of jasmine rice. Curry chicken is one of my favorite dishes. I ordered your curry but I also add jamaican chicken too. Yummy!

Anthony, you should fast for blood work...nothing to eat/drink after midnight. Also, BP is known as the silent killer. You can have no symptoms and have high BP. Be careful of seasonings that include sodium. Also, beverages can include sodium. You're rich if you have your health❤

Maybe a light color curtains will be good for the summer. The dark color seems to be more of a fall / winter color. But what I think doesn’t matter. As long as you like it, that’s what matters. 💝
💡You can lightly spray / mist the curtains with plain water and it will pop out those wrinkles without having to iron them.
I have the curtains open during the day any way. Thanks for the water spray to get the wrinkles out of the curtains.

👍You’re very welcome about no ironing tip. I use that tip for my clothes too when I travel. I lightly spray/mist my suit/clothes, hang them in the closet and the next day I’m all set. 🤩💝
Anthony you can use a can from a canned good product as a chimney if you don’t have yours handy. Cut the end off the can on both sides, use some foil and your charcoal, light …there’s a charcoal chimney for nomads :) see ya in the road friend!

Hi Yvonne. It will not fit because it’s not a deep pocket fitted sheet. Meaning the mattress is thick. It might fit a normal thickness mattress, but not that one.

My parents was contractors for many years and their job was to oversee plant production, from produce, poultry etc. The way I've seen packaging done over the years at these plants, Yes I will wash off everything that's packed or packaged even if it's in a can. Some of the high end grocery stores and markets Do a good job cleaning before putting produce and veggies and fruits out, but it's still a great option to clean yourself.
