These are wonderful work everyone. This is the most highest competitive skill base players in the world square up. So profession young players coming in their prime of the game. These guys held the whole franchise on their back and boosted all our love for the game. Shout out to my fav player Renegade.
This was my first HCS event I attended and my mind was blown by that grand final. The back and forth is unmatched between these 2 teams.

The reason I always root for optic isn't just because they are good, it's because they just seem to have a way better character of teams and are much more pleasant to watch. Both renegade and frosty always come off as really "toxic" to me, for the lack of a better word.
@@Ripa-Moramee Couldn't be further from the truth. Check their streams out from time to time. They're really chill guys, and they answer a lot of questions in chat. More than likely, you have that impression based on one or two clips that you saw of them either teabagging or giving their opinion on something. There's no reason to judge a person entirely based on a few unflattering clips, and besides, it's not like Optic players have never disrespected other players either.

Frosty being egotistical as fuck that one time on stream saying that lucid sucks and renegades way better, just being weird and then even sooking in lucid's stream. Renegade getting all rage baby during scrims, hates on lucid like crazy and even t bagged in HCS games without being t bagged first.

I still can’t believe optic won despite playing so sloppy. It’s like they were playing at 70%. Shoulda won 4-1/2 if they didn’t troll 1st map and get unlucky with rockets in KOTH.
Formal and Trippy were severely inconsistent at times and getting smoked and Lucid wasn’t close to his best. Faze overall kd was 1.11 while optic was 1.05. It’s insanely impressive optic’s composure and resilience. They will always make games close even if they are getting fried or losing power weapons.
My thoughts as well
Dispite maybe not being at there best. They still try to make the smart plays. The difference in the coms for example is insane. Faze really does not even seem to listen to eachother.
Also things like tossing the sniper of the map, even if it means turning your back for a second. Renegade, everyone loves his aggro play style but how many times does he deliver the sniper to the enemy squad. He will do it after getting like 2 insane kills but then like delivers 4-6 bullets to the enemy team and gets praised for it..
I DO think Optic didn't play up to quite the caliber I've seen them play sometimes. But I think that's partly because both teams are playing at such a high level....neither team had any room for mistakes.
Lol what both teams combined against eachother has to average to 1 kd. It can't be higher. Those stats are either wrong or across the entire tournament. It's possible to be lower from suicides or team kills

@diegoflores6245 what do you mean? I actually like halo. If these guys cared at all about competitive halo they would be pushing halo 2 and improving upon the game. I'd literally pay a monthly subscription if they did this and so would many other people. It literally makes no sense why they keep producing games when they have 2 perfect competitive titles to work with that they could continue to build off of.

Only reason Optic looked sloppy is because they had to deal with massive slaying power from Faze which puts a lot of holes in their game plan and had to make them get creative to win , I mean that streets hill reset 3 optic members goosed and the slays was like 28 faze and 3 optic with 2 hills captured , faze is first team to roll optic that hard on the main stage , it was embarrassing
