In my opinion, holding a door for someone is not dependent on gender. As a man, it's appropriate to hold a door if you see anyone else approaching, as a courtesy.

My wife kept moving my stuff around, so I returned the favor-rearranged the whole kitchen. Bottles in new drawers, cups relocated, seasonings on the top shelf where she couldn’t reach. Funny enough, she stopped after that.😂

My Filipina always ask me about her armpits. I always say they are beautiful. She never believes me. I tell her to stop worrying what other people think.

Yes, that's an upvote from me for this too. An older vidclip Pea did with lovely legal beagle Gracey, covered off the legal prereqs and protocols, but the ceremonial and cultural elements were 'out of scope' (and out of time) for that one. Pairing the two together would be an uber-cool Thing 😃
😂 as usual P you nailed it! Food? I stopped asking. I know if I want to go to Starbucks, or a restaurant I just tell my wife and she will answer “I will take a shower first”. She works ( her choice) and takes a lunch with her because she gets off very late. If I decide to go out for dinner or just for a burger or sandwich I know I better bring one home for her. It may be cold when she gets home at midnight, but if I don’t get her the same thing I had it will hurt her feelings but I make sure she doesn’t go to bed hungry. BTW our 8th anniversary will be 29 September. Living the dream in Texas I guess !

Thank you for the video. Pro tip - if you spill hot wax on a rug or sofa etc use a paper towel and a warm iron. Lay the paper towel over the spill and begin to iron the heat will melt the wax and the paper towel will soak it up.
Alternatively you can use a non hazardous polar solvent to dissolve the wax then absorb it with absorbent material. Mineral Spirits will work. Rubbing alcohol will work too but it is an ignitable solvent so you have to be careful you’re not near an ignition source.

Just arrived in Manila yesterday, first time back in 15 years, boy has Manila changed. In all the years and all the girls I have bedded not once have I had my lumber handled at bed time. Pea. My mind exploded when you started your show today. I instantly went back to a time my wife and I were at SMCLARK in Clark city. We were in a crowded restaurant and I was in my scooter. I was having trouble navigating through the crowd and a young man got very vocal with a few young people for not getting out of the way. I was a bit embarrassed because in our country, that doesn’t happen often. So, my experience in the Philippines is that old people and PWDs are highly appreciated and respected. Miss Pea. I’ve been married to a Filipina for many years and still learning quirks. That’s what keeps it interesting. When I get the phrase “it’s up to you” I just go ahead with the plan. If she doesn’t like it she will let me know. I asked her when we first met about holding the lumber all night. She told me just consider it a teddy bear without arms. Great video.

The end of your video is very important. One very important thing filipinas can learn is to kiss in a softer more sensual way. I have been trying to teach my wife this for years and it is slowly getting better, but when she uses her tongue during kissing, it is very rigid, rather than the soft membrane intended to be when used intimately. She tells me this approach is very common among filipinas. But just know, this can be a turn off when intended to be a turn on.

We just passed the 13 years of marriage mark this month and I can relate to almost all of these things. The 1st time I heard my wife say hippopotamus I had to get her to repeat it about 5 times. Now I purposely pronounce a lot of things the way she does as playful sarcasm. I had to get her over to my computer so she could hear that segment of the video. She also, after all these years still is in no hurry to get out of a doorway when she walks into a store or the bottom of the escalator. When we're in the supermarket, I have to constantly remind her to give people coming some room, simply step aside, not at the last second. When she 1st got here to the US I had to coach her on a lot of things, some she learned, others not so much. She did, thankfully learn not to crowd the person in front of her at the cash register, makes people here uncomfortable to do that.

The holding the lumber while you slumber is I think something that happens all over the world. I have had a few do that from the U.S. and a girl I dated from Singapore did as well. Holding is ok but it is that tight grip some use and if they have a dream be it good or bad they seem to have a firm grip on your life to the point you have to wake them up to let go. Then they get upset thinking you hate them holding it. When you tell them they hold to tight they think you lost your mind....

Being a Christian man, I can give a few general insights, yes, 99% percent sure his lack of sexual prowess is being restrained. He respects his body, he respects you but most importantly he is trying to respect God's commandments. Sex is meant to between a husband and wife only even though the general world's view says otherwise. If it's meant to be, on your wedding night , you will be see the restrains come off. If you think about it, waiting to have sex until marriage is a good thing, would you want someone who acted on his impulses? Do you a man who would sleep with multiple women? Diseases??? Having children out of wedding lock, he has multiple baby mama's??? He wants a wife to share his life with and not just sex... you should be so lucky to have a man like that for your husband...
If he is a devout Christian, you’re probably just going to chase him away when you want to get down and dirty with him on camera. You’ve been talking for nine months, but only online, he has no idea no matter how much he hopes otherwise if you’re talking or dating to other people locally And or online. And you really don’t know of that about him either. It seems like he wants to be serious but the more you want to get down and dirty the less serious he’s gonna be. He’ll probably just be really disappointed and leave. Most people are like that. Yourself included. Where are the faster people want to get down and dirty the less serious you’re gonna be about it no matter how much you partake in the down and dirty at the moment.

I don't hold doors for others, based on gender. I hold doors open for others, regardless of gender or good looks.
I've held doors open for all, ever since I was in 8th grade, and often was made fun of.
So, for the past 53 years, I've been consistent with this habit. 😊
I just can't "drop a door" on anyone who is also coming to the door.
You mentioned the escalator and that they are not trying to be rude, but that they just don't take anyone else into consideration... which in actuality, is rude.
Oh well, everyone has their own habits, and I can hold others to the same values to which I hold for myself.

That also apparently explains weird "following" of other vehicles behind you on the highway for many miles from what I heard. Which I wouldn't have thought the reason.
In the southern US we dont hold doors open for only women. It is for whoever is approaching, whether it is one guy, woman, your friend, or a family. Sometimes we just kinda throw the door open wide and let the next person do the same if they have a whole crowd with them.
That's called "Southern Charm" than many transplants from our Northern states to retire just don't have. I'm the same way as you and I find many from the East and South East US, do the same for me. But many don't so we no longer get angry at them. They just grew up somewhere else and don't have the same behaviors as we do here in the South. It is what it is.

You are absolutely correct about the Filipina being vague about answering a question. Even when it comes down to being black or white, yes or no. It has been a bone of contention for years with my Filipina and I. It can take a half hour to get the simplest things answered.
