Circular Saw Guide Track Ver. 2

  • I once introduced a circular saw guide track
I had some problems using it.
First of all, there was play between the tracks,
The short length prevented the full-size plywood short sides from being cut at once.
That's why we've created a new track that's longer, more sophisticated and easier to operate.
Please enjoy watching the video today
Always thank you very much for your support. =)
If you press the 'subscription' and 'thumbs' button, it will be a big help to me. Thank you. :)

I am also a hobbyist. Your video is very good quality.
In minute 1:52 you open a box to get some screws. I really liked the box! It looks neat and functional. I presume you made it too. It would be wonderful that you show us how to make this box. Do you have a video about it?
    Thanks for sharing your ideas!

I threw away my crappy homemade track saw yesterday and have watched about 30 DIY track saw builds on TH-cam. I think yours is the best design I've seen! I'll probably add a clamping pad at the end because I don't trust myself to not slide it around while I'm cutting. Great work!

the perfect DIY tracksaw, with square guide at the bottom, handle and prevents your saw from moving away to the right. also does not reduce your cutting capacity compare to other DIY track saw that uses a sliding T tracks

Very nice design. If I might suggest an upgrade, I would leave a little bit of wood outside the track at the other end so that you can clamp it if you need to on a long cut without getting in the way of the saw. Nice work!

Cool! I'll try to make one.
The large holes to see the cutline at the bottom piece is a good idea. However, I wonder if you get tear out at those places, since the blade cuts upward... Or is it negligible? Maybe a sheet of acrylic will maintain the seethrough property while providing support for the piece in order to prevent tearout...
