Due to the problem with Ohio and the very late schedule for the democrat convention, this decision would have to be made in the next four weeks.
Hubert Humphrey was a much more popular vice president than is Harris. There's no way she would win against Trump and there really isn't anyone the Democrats could pick in the short time left to them. The Democrats are stuck with Biden.
