This mom is very good about feeding them both no matter how much bonking going on and it warms my heart...The older chick sure loves his food and cuteness to no end..Thanks Lady Hawk..❤️❤️
I love to see that the little one is getting fed and the mother makes sure it eats !! She also sat on them so they had to break it off. Thanks for a great look at these babies. It’s really a treat 😊
The little one as little as a green pea and bigger one size of grape lol. Quite a contrast in size. Like how the little one is very peppy even after been bonked by older sibling . She’ll catch up in size in no time coz momma so good feeding them . They are both Cute as Buttons ♥️💜❤️, Thx
Thank you LH! SPUNKMEISTER, the little one did a bit of his own bonking this afternoon and looks like he will be a feisty little fighter. I’m so in love? When he falls over, he is gonna get back up no matter how many times the older one knocks him down. Cuteness OVERLOAD!
Hi 5dorkycatillos - oh that was something else this afternoon wasn't it? I did a video on it - one of the longest bonking sessions I have seen in a while lol I didn't count how many times he got knocked over but like you said - he just kept getting back up!!
Thank you very much for your explanation about two Sibling Rivalty! Yes, after I was watching at Eagles's growing up processes, first I worried very much about "peckings"at the first stage, but at the certain stage , two Eaglests built up very good relationships, and now two are enjoying their new flying experiences together ! Another example is the nest of three Eaglets! The last little onw is becoming very smart. The little one is waiting for the time when two elders become full enough ! As long as foods are enough, the little one is survived and catch up soon ! I have always felt a kind of respect to the parent Eagles' dedications and wise judgements !
Lady hawk eagles are my favorite animals and I wish to be a zoologist and go around the world and study animals you've inspired me to do what I love! Thank you!, I'm 11 and greeting s from Richmond ,Virginia.
Hi Lord of eagles - that is awesome!!! I can't think of a better career choice!! I do hope you pursue your passion and study because the world needs more people like yourself making a difference with our wildlife. Wildlife biologists are in demand too! You can learn to become an eagle whisperer and go up into the nests to band them, falcons and osprey too! Check out this video and tell me if this is something you would like to do! Thank you so much - you will be a great zoologist. th-cam.com/video/ZvM4TGVK-zo/w-d-xo.html
Lady Hawk I also write to organization s like the American bald eagle foundation in Haines, Alaska ,the Alaska chilkat bald eagle reserve in Juneau Alaska , and the national wild life federation in reston ,Virginia
Hi Grammar - yes two days apart - April 11th and 13th. The youngest took some time getting out of that shell too. I was noticing the size difference today too.
(kristine) These hawks seem more like weebles! When they go down they get back up! I'm new to the hawk line but I don't see the submissive nature here as in the eagles. Am I correct or is this just a even match? TY Lady Hawk
I think the youngest is feisty for sure, but that is not uncommon for the first few days. I think after being bonked he will learn to avoid it and be submissive. The oldest is getting quite big and strong now.
Hi Marianne - I don't believe we know their ages however the female is banded and we were able to get the number. Presidio is researching this and will post the information. This will tell us at least the age and hatch location of the female hawk! Presidio has said this pair has been at this location for several years raising their young!

I just love the mom She is so attentive and when she preens her babies So caring with them. Thank you love this nest.

Mrs. P. is a great mom. Thank you for this video. I like the surroundi g sounds as well. Really gives it that nature feel.

They are so beautiful and even though they're already beating each other up. Mrs P is such a good Mommy. Thanks LH. 💝💝

Soooo adorable. They don't seem to bonk as hard as eaglets...but still ! HAAA
Thanks.
Beautiful !
I can hear her say, stop that fighting and get over here and eat your breakfast. Hope they stop fighting soon. Thanks Lady Hawk!!
It's amazing how much of a difference there is between sizes when they're only 2 (?) days apart

I hope the smaller baby's feistiness and loud squeal are enough to keep it alive.
The youngest is thriving! He had several excellent feedings today and his crop was so big he couldn't eat anymore.
Sure the outcome will be ok here with Mom being such a skilled feeder. Some other nests with less food, the outcome for the younger is not so good.

Do you know how old Mrs P is and is this her first babies?
Marianne Morrison I’ve wondered as well.
