  • Part II of the southeastern tours took us to Dupont State Forest for some mountain biking, a few Nolichucky shenanigans, and then a 2021 rip down the Tallulah. But this one is all about the conclusion. Black Pumas set to mother nature and all our friends is a combo that can't be topped. Enjoy! With music by Strung Like a Horse, The Devil Makes Three, and Black Pumas.

It’s so cool seeing you and the boy crushing it on the Savage. His look of stoke yesterday and swagger as he walked was priceless.

Ya know, I came back to this 2 part series after watching your Red Creek video (3 times yesterday). I may have missed the closing comments last time, slightly obscure. We share many of the same interests although skiing, golfing and hiking have taken a back seat to WW kayaking and mountain biking, both of which I stepped up from flatwater and gravel last year. Living in Potomac, MD, kayaking and MTB are my escape from the elitism/entitlement, going hand in hand with my love of roots and bluegrass music (15 years attendee at Floydfest). Your music selection is always good (I hate stock music). Videography (trade/corporate advocacy) is my day job, but aerial video has been a big passion over the last 4 years and your drone clips really set your videos apart. I always love the gimbal down, tilt reveal and follow shots. Keep up the good work. The Red Creek doc is award-winning content.

Hit me up if you’re in the area. Always down to get out on a content adventure.

And yeah, I get the “obscurity”. My head was not on the best place with the sport when I made this. I’ve since found more clarity with the issue and think the community is growing out of its elitism phase and seeing multiple facets to the sport moving forward.

Job well done. It's nice watching a kayaking video that's not just essentially a music video of someone's highlights or just the best rapids of a river.

What a lovely compilation of fun whitewater, stunning scenery and spending quality time with friends!
It also brought back many fond memories of paddling down Tallulah, Section IV and the Green Narrows with good friends! :-)

Safety meetings are arguably the very most important part of WW paddling!!!

That river is amazing! You guys have a real gem down there. We will be back for a fall release weekend. Come on up for some Upper Youghin’ this summer.

Come slum it with some of the class 3 crowd some time. But nothing wrong with hitting the slopes, my body just can't take those beaterings like it used to (resigned to lowkey rad dadding now).

There will be a good bit of Class III open boating this year.

Sweet ending. The whitewater ego is part of why I stopped getting on facebook. I feel refreshed and stoked about boating since being away from it for a few months. The elitism seems less present in person but I'm sure it depends on the crowd. I look forward to seeing your open boat videos. I got one last year and plan to paddle it more this year. Single blading is fun!

Appreciate you listening to my ramblings. I’ve considered the hiatus, but I’m cursed with it being my career and don’t really get that option. I wish though.
Open boating is something I’ve been wanting to get back into for a while. But I’m certainly a step down in skill, and am looking forward to showcasing some great Class III-IV runs in the area. Thanks for tuning in.
