Decided to come back to this run because nostalgia and thought I would point out a couple things now that this is over 2 years old 1. WR on video is now 1:50:29, I personally have a 1:49:14, just not on video 2. The timing on which runs end was adjusted, so the run now ends when the screen goes full white after the mashing section. This run is now a 1:50:47 because of it 3. I put a now deleted comment on an All Worlds run I did that made category sound terrible. I can say it’s a lot funnier when you aren’t going for heart gems
And I’m late to a response lol. For a full TAS of this game no, however there has been TASes made for the Big Bossdown mode. I believe it’s a 3:15 TAS time and the WR is 3:51. I hold 2nd place with a 3:52. Also the run is done using the in game timer
If playing the USA version you could get close to 1:50 (for tas, probably between 1:48-1:49) for the Japanese version you could realistically go down to 1:45 maybe 1:44 (for tas I would between 1:40 and 1:42)

Resources? No, not really.
Honestly, you don’t need a resource, just don’t collect treasures, get through text and cutscenes by mashing start and beat the game
