The seal isn't as good . White rice and Beans like kidney can be stored when properly treated for thirty years. This is a staple You literally cannot have enough of these , cheap and effective. Sugar, honey, maple syrup lasts forever, store in glass containers, not plastic. Meat can be freeze dried and canned meat will last but not indefinitely. Fat is probably the hardest to store, and without it you will die. Geey is a good option and canned lard, freeze dried butter etc . Spirits whiskey etc, anything over 40 percent lasts forever. Have heirloom seeds and hope for the best.

Sugar, honey, maple syrup lasts forever, store in glass containers, not plastic.
Meat can be freeze dried and canned meat will last but not indefinitely.
Fat is probably the hardest to store, and without it you will die. Geey is a good option and canned lard, freeze dried butter etc .
Spirits whiskey etc, anything over 40 percent lasts forever. Have heirloom seeds and hope for the best.
