New RC Rigger with 4S (Self made, Part 4 / 175 Km/h)

- Hier seht ihr einen Test Run mit dem neuen kleineren Motor. Der 3674 Leopard wurde durch einen 3665 ersetzt. Mit dem Setup sollten die 180 Km/h möglich sein. Die Lipos wurden am Vortag nur auf 4,2V geladen. Am Wasser im Heizkoffer auf 4,25V und 180 Km/h sollten dann auf dem GPS stehen.

Fährt sich richtig geil! Ich habe vor, demnächst auch mal meinen eigenen Rigger zu bauen. Hast Du mir evtl. ein paar Tipps? Ride Pad-Winkel der Schwimmer etc. Hab bisher sehr wenig Ahnung in Sachen Outrigger, ausser nen Shrimp Rigger zusammengebaut aus China. 🙂

das beste ist wenn du dich in einem Forum anmeldest, re-rennboote.de . Es gibt da sehr viele unterschiedliche Möglichkeiten was die Ausführung angeht. Ich bin sogar bei meinem letztem Rigger 0° Winkel mit halbrunder Abrisskante gefahren. Ich hatte damals sehr viel experimentiert, leider mache ich aus Gesundheitlichen gründen die letzten 10 Jahre nichts mehr. Ich habe hier auch ein paar Bilder unter Bauberichte von diesem Rigger.
Mit diesem Rigger habe ich dieses Jahr (2015) in Duisburg auf dem SAW meine Klasse L4 mit einem neuen Rekord von 173,445 Km/h als AVG gewonnen. Da sollte noch ein bisschen mehr gehen.

ultimate 11 From the prop to the top, 85cm and the wide is 50cm. Balance point by 40cm from the prop to the top.

Hi again, this is an amazing motor ive finally tried it on 4s..can you please tell me the correct ESC for this and time duration you can run flat out before the esc etc are in danger, i see you only do short time bursts..I have the motor in a Feilun FT011
My ESC was from MBP and could last 200 A. But the ESC has not existed for a long time. These were originally Flier ESC modified by MBP. These were then produced by Flier for his shop. As a timing I drove 15 ° to the 4 polers. Hope i understand your question, my english is very bad. The 3665 Leo was only used for SAW competitions. For oval races, I had a 3674 installed.

hi, did you made it's strut and prop shaft? is the 2mm spring steel can hold that speed?
The hardware is homemade. Have a 2mm spring steel shaft installed, no problems with the speed, there is even more possible.

Ich hätte einen Dr Evil mit 4082 2600 kV verbaut ! Meinst der Motor hält 6S aus? Regler ist der Seaking 180 V3
Ich würde es an deiner Stelle nicht ausprobieren, außer du weisst genau was du machst. Meistens kann man mit Feintuning noch jede Menge an Speed herausholen ohne gleich schwere Geschütze aufzufahren. Wenn es schief geht kannst du von Glück reden wenn es dir nur den Motor himmelt.

Größeren Durchmesser, mehr Steigung , aber mehr geht anscheinend nicht mehr mit dem Motor Drehzahl !
Keine Ahnung was für ein Setup du verbaut hast, aber wenn du mit deinem Propellermaterial nicht weiter kommst wirst du wohl einen Motor mit mehr Drehzahl verbauen müssen. Funktioniert aber nur wenn der Regler da noch mitspielt. Wenn du schnell geradeaus fahren willst, also SAW dann sollte auch keine Finne montiert sein und das Ruder so klein und dünn wie möglich.
Melde dich doch mal bei Raceboats an, die Jungs könne dir auch weiter helfen. Über You-Tube ist das schlecht möglich.

Attention, this engine is a SAW setup where I drove in 2015. For travel setups in the oval, a 3674 motor with less kv is recommended.

Thankyou for that info, i managed to find a 42mm 1.8p from ebay.. I just got a sworder outrigger, 4s lipo 4000mah 60-130c..also same motor 3665 3930kv..Your boat is impressive, it will out do my hydropro inception boat running leopardhobby 4082 1600kv running 8s lipo.. I get 4 mins running time from 8000mah..Would you know a better prop for my hydropro for top speed
It is not really possible to call recommendations for props.
You have to see the rigger live on the water.
Otherwise it can smoke very fast (ESC).
